January passed like, wow, so fast ._. and it's already February now.

and i'm turning 17 in less than one month's time! I want to stay young please!

Received O Level Results on 9Jan :)

Submitted JAE etc, if only my colleagues started psycho-ing me earlier about better jcs, lol.

But oh well.

Had quite a number of treats in January + CNY + lazy to exercise = omg i'm growing fatter, lol :/

treats from Ms Lim, ks, Terence, boss etc. THANK YOU, haha :)

Went to Malaysia to aunt's house on 22Jan for CNY, rather boring uh, but saw fireworks and fire crackers and i got to 放孔明灯! :D

Continued to work at IPP until 26 January. Missed colleagues and didnt bear to leave, lol.

So just a short reflection about my work experience for these 2 months:

+ve:

1. Earned money!

2. Got to eat super nice food from Tanjong Pagar and Chinatown!

3. Grew closer to Vivian since we travel to work together

4. Made friends, laughed a lot when Terence, Louis and Linda joked, hahaa

5. Know more about the society, all the psycho talks by Terence, Stephen, Ronnie and Jason

6. Friendly colleagues and generous boss, all the drinking of tea and treats, haha

-ve:

1. I didnt really get the chance to step out into the society since whenever i need help, i can just approach my sister.

2. Good food made me fatter T.T

3. The psycho talks made me troubled ._.

But on the whole, my temporary job as an admin assistant was still kinda good i guess :)

Met up with 9th EXCO for dinner at pastamania on 26 Jan :D

Went to watch "We Not Naughty" with Lay Ping and Melody on 27 Jan, funny show!

watched B div netball match at RP afterwards, i suddenly miss RP food!

catch-up session with Lay Ping and Melody was quite fun! A pity i couldnt make it to watch B div's following match on 30 Jan with them :(

But went to sing k at MCC with Sheng Rong and Chea Chee on 30 Jan.

Quite fun la, haven't sing in a long time and it's a rather good deal, haha.

And so i was posted to AJC and yesterday was first day of school.

Matriculation, all the important subject talks etc.

And today was about scholarships and CCA.

Submitted subject combination choices last night, had a hard time choosing, but finally made up my mind on BCME.

and now i'm troubling over CCA ._.

I want my JC life to be enriching, haha.

Overview and reflections for 2011 + New year resolutions for 2012

Sorry for all the wordy posts but I'm not used to uploading pictures onto my blog and am too lazy to do that, haha!

So the major thing for 2011 was of course O level.

I think last year passed rather slowly before the O levels, with all the studying, lessons and etc. And actually i think i didnt do my best with all the distractions and long breaks i take after meals :x

so now i'm rather worried about my results, especially higher chinese and humanities. But well there's no point dwelling about all these now. And how i hope my life will remain at this phase - the after o's and waiting for results part of life. But i know that's impossible.

The very big first school event in 2011 for me was SOOC. At times i look back and thought about things that happened. Yes if i had another chance, there would be a number of things which i would have done differently. I don't want to reveal so much about the mistakes because they're rather personal so i shall just say what they are: selection of comm members, discipline of OGLs and prioritising. Okay sounds like too much info. I know it's impossible for me to have another chance to organise SOOC again so i hope my juniors won't repeat the same mistakes and make future SOOC even better! :)

Then although i wasnt in school team for netball but i'm glad i got the chance to interact with the sec ones and build up my relationship with them :) Netball taught me that passion gives you the determination to work hard and carry on. Netball taught me that there is a difference between needing and wanting a break. I like how netballers are rather disciplined. I like how netballers are bonded (maybe not as a whole CCA but at least within batches). I like how netballers encourage each other when we jog during warm up and how we communicate especially when we do square drill. That's one of the reasons why i love doing square drill/4 corners. So i hope my juniors will continue to work hard and stop skipping CCA without a valid reason!

My last school event before stepping down was Speech Day 2011. It was great that i got to work with Hot Haiqal again as emcees. Yes i know my emcee-ing skills suck very much and i certainly did not know why Ms Jasmine Lim wanted me to be the emcee again but i'm really glad i got the chance to take up this role again and not make the same mistakes as 2010.

I went for KL trip with 3 teachers and 28 students. I admit I wasnt looking forward to it initially because i really didnt know what would await for us when we reach there. And what's more i somehow became the leader of Group 2 when nobody mentioned about it or whatsoever. So i didnt really lead my group and we made many mistakes but i'm sure all of us learnt valuable lessons :) and i really love group 2 and i love how we shared our opinions about each other on the last night and how vinegar played in the hotel room on the last night. It was really funny :) So although i had to sacrifice my holiday lessons for the KL trip, i learnt lessons during the trip which i can never learn in the classrooms.

Next we officially stepped down. Seeing the next batch of exco running PSLT and running around with all the walkie talkies revived my memories for SOOC and Student Council events instantly. I remember i even took Qian Ying's talkie to pm Kester to ask him to tuck in his shirt, LOL. And i definitely miss the memories with my beloved 9th EXCO. Yes I'm definitely not a very good president and i'm extremely apologetic towards my 2 lovely Deputy Presidents for all the lack of communication, but I'm extremely grateful towards each and everyone of you for tolerating with me and my long and boring meetings. Thank you for all of the lessons all of you taught me and I'm really sorry if I've hurt any of you unknowingly. Thank you for letting me have the chance lead all of you and i hope all of you have taken away valuable lessons as well :)

And i spent my upper secondary studying life with 3/5'10 and 4/5'11. Yes our performance is below teachers' expectations and some of us just refuse to step out of their own world to bond with the class. I keep so quiet in class when in teachers' opinion, i'm supposed to voice out more. We aren't very bonded but i must say i really enjoyed myself at the class chalet. If only it was 3D2N! to think i was still considering whether i should go for the chalet since i was working in the day and many of the usuals i hang out with in class were not going, i'm glad i decided to make the effort to turn up for it and hey, i'm extremely sure i made the right choice! and i'm glad i managed to convince mummy to let me stay overnight because joker played at night was really fun! So i'm thankful to those who made the effort to turn up :)

Then was all the mugging for O's and some friendship problems here and there. Well I've written dedication messages to my friends in the previous entries so i shall skip to the conclusion of 2011. i guess i learnt how to appreciate people around me more (especially my family). I learnt more about myself and i wonder what 2012 has for me. So i shall embrace what 2012 has for me and continue to reflect and learn. (okay quite a lousy conclusion due to my lousy summary skills and limited vocabulary)

So here are my new year resolutions for 2012:

1. Be more patient and less fussy

Yes stop being particular about small details and don't get fed up so easily when somebody or something interrupts my eating timeline. lol

2. Love more

Time to weaken the barrier i have of worrying i'll get hurt. (okay this is difficult) but not too low of course. reason for this resolution is because i realise i've been hurting people around me who love me a lot. So i should stop being so selfish and perhaps love them more :)

3. Be more generous

Yes somemore i'm getting my pay soooooooooon

4. Stop procastinating!!!

Yes especially about exercising! Stop finding excuses for yourself why you shouldnt run! I need to shed the fats off LIKE SERIOUSLY. So please be more self-disciplined. It's okay to eat some sinful treats at times but not too much. And please don't start eating ice cream and not knowing how to stop later on. You know the price you have to pay later on.

5. Be more sociable

Yes please talk more. And make more friends. You're gonna be only 17 this year you know! speaking of that, i really don't want to grow old. I want to remain as a teenager forever. I DON'T WANT TO GROW OLD T.T but time won't stop for me. So please seize the time to make more friends and hang out with them and laugh and spend memorable times with them. But this is again, difficult since i have really lousy interacting skills.

And in terms of skills, i'm considering to pick up chinese orchestra or student council as my cca if i go JC. Chinese orchestra so that i can learn how to play an instrument. Student Council so that i will be given opportunities to lead and not repeat the same mistakes i've made in secondary school. hmm.

So these are my new year resolutions! Happy 2012! :)

And so here i am to post my dedication messages to my family members. I think i'm one of the few who post messages to family members so readers please don't forget about your family members, haha.

My Daddy

First of all thank you so much for what you've done for the family. Although i'm not really close to you since you're working on weekdays and at times weekends and only return home late at night most of the time, i still love you very very much. There was this period of time when i doubted your love for me since it's obvious you really love sissy the most and you can talk and laugh with Chea Chee when watching TV shows while you can't do that with me. I'm sorry for thinking this way but i'm sure you love us all as much as you love mummy and yourself :) You're really helpful even towards strangers and your small little actions like these definitely influenced me to lend a helping hand to strangers when they are in need. And thanks for sharing with me what your reaction was when you first knew mum was pregnant with Chea Chee and me yesterday, haha. And i see that you love children a lot too. I could still remember how you brought a lost kid to a security guard in Giant in Malaysia many years ago, and how you touched a young boy on his head gently yesterday when he accidentally almost knocked into you. Thank you for making nice meals for us at times during weekends, be it just a simple meal which consist of maggie mee and boiled vegetables and I love the runny egg yolks you make! haha. Or even simple toasts with tuna are good enough :) chea chee, chea sing and I made you a meal during Father's Day or your birthday last year and I would like to do that again soon, and hopefully Chea Wei (sissy) can join in as well :) I think my dad is responsible and cares a lot for the family. I love you daddy :)

My Mummy

Hi mummy i love you as much as i love daddy and the family. Thank you for tolerating with my nonsense and especially my fussy attitude. Thank you for stocking up my yogurt and bread which are my must-haves for breakfast every morning. You're really patient with me. Thank you for remembering what i like to eat whenever i randomly tell you which flavour of jam or yogurt or anything is nice and you'll tend to buy them for me. Thank you for taking time off your rest time to bring me to the chinese doctor whenever i sprained my ankle. Thank you so much for loving me so much unconditionally. That was when i realise how important love from parents are. If children don't feel loved by their parents, that's when they start to rebel. But i'm glad i feel loved by my family :) I admit i get annoyed at times by how "singaporean" you are (lol) but it's okay. But please be less stubborn and hey mummy, i really hope you'll be nicer to sissy. I know she's lied and hurt you a lot in the past but she's changed for the better. Everyone makes mistakes so why don't you forgive her once more and accept her again? Sissy's really hoping you'll accept her again. It's like how you used to treat Chea Sing better and Chea Chee and I expressed our unhappiness to you and you change for the better and treat us fairly. So i hope you'll treat sissy equally nice as well :) I love you mummy.

My older sissy aka Chea Wei

Hey sissy thanks for the lovely chat we had that day on the train while on the way to work. I should have talked to you about it much earlier so that I'll know how to tackle problems I face in leadership such as late-comers for meetings. You've really changed so much for the better. I dislike the old you when you treat me nicely when you need me and ask me to get out when you don't need me. But you're different now. Thank you for looking after me at workplace. Thank you for moving around in the train whenever I move because you want to stay near me to ensure I'm fine. Thank you for being patient with me and not flare when i make mistakes. For that i promise i'll be patient with my subordinates next time when they make mistakes if I ever get the chance to be involved in such things again. With that i hope you'll not lose hope and continue to love the family although mummy is really stubborn and isnt very willing to accept the new good you. I hope you finish calling your clients fast so that you'll probably dread work less and i hope you pass your next interview at SIA and realise your dream of flying around the world. But please do not forget about the family. I love you sissy :)

My Twinny aka Chea Chee

HELLOOOOOOOOOO, I'm really glad to have a lovely awesome wonderful twin like you! and i'm really grateful for that :) It's really cool we don't look alike at all and that's something interesting about us :) Although we're definitely not as close as twins like Jun Wen and Hui Wen or Colin and Clement but i think we've became closer this year! like how i rant to you about her and how you telll me your problems with another her and her. Now that's more like twins isnt it! With that i hope we'll continue to confide in each other :) I apologise for being such a lousy twin, for not knowing how to help when you're having problems, for not knowing what's on your mind. Although you look strong on the outside but somehow i can sense that you're really inferior on the inside. But hey, love yourself for who you are and be confident! Everyone makes mistakes and everyone has their own strengths and weaknesses, so don't compare yourself with others because ultimately your true competitor is you and only yourself. And i really love how passionate you are for band :) I love you my twinny! ;D

My younger sister aka Chea Sing

Although according to mummy you're the least academically inclined among her 4 daughters, you definitely have your own strengths as well :) thanks so much for always helping me, be it simple things like helping me to find my phone (lol -.-) or helping me to take my bottle when i'm too lazy to move, i'm really grateful for all these small little things you've done for me. Thank you for helping Chea Chee and me out especially when we're mugging for Olevels. You're really helpful and are always among one of the first few who will be willing to lend me a helping hand when i'm in need of one. I think you are over the moon when i say nice things to you (yes i can see the gleam in your eyes) and i was glad you were glad when you knew i bought grape rock stickys for you. Yes the packet of stickys and set of clothes i bought for you are meant to thank you for being such a lovely meimei and to encourage you to work harder for academics. You're really happy when you got good in progress award since most of the time it's either me or chea chee or both who get the awards. But hey i'm really glad for you and i really hope you'll continue to work hard. Perhaps you transferred to Riverside with the help of me and chea chee but this is the most we can help you with. So do work hard and stop hiding in our shadows and create a colourful page of your own in Riverside :) and although you're really timid (especially when it comes to ordering food -.- and buying things), sometimes I see that as a good thing since that means lower chances of you rebelling. I kind of pei fu you for being willing to let mummy "scold" you a times when you do silly stuff but at times i hope you stay this way rather than isolating and being an emo kid. So thanks for being such a lovely meimei and i love you younger sis :) and you have long legs which very sadly i dont have so please dont be afraid to flaunt them please x)

That's all for my family. I love my family :) Sometimes they make me feel that it's all right that i don't have many friends to hang out with or laugh with. Thank you for all the love and care :)

1. Song Wen Ting Jazlyn :)

Hi lovely! hahaha, i'm a bit high now. Okay i seriously wonder how many bloggers manage to express their thoughts so well with vocabulary so rich because i really don't know how to do that.

We've been through many ups and downs (our friendship) but i can't be anymore grateful towards you for not letting go but holding on to our friendship. You're still the first on my list whenever i need to rant or confide in somebody. Thank you for being so wonderful. Thank you for dedicating the song to me. You said i changed you, but don't forget your presence definitely changed me so much for the better too! I'm really glad to have met you. Honestly I didnt expect us to be such close friends when i first saw you in Secondary 1. I still remember i was having a hard time trying to remember who's jazlyn who's jocelyn during ice breakers for SOOC 2008, hahaha! So i really thank you for always being there and making me reflect and learn. I apologise for all the shit i've given and am giving you even until now but deep down, i still love you a lot truck loads many tonnes much :) thank you for teaching me love is not only about receiving but also giving. thank you for teaching me commitments in school is not about CCA points but the lessons we learn from it (omg i feel so ashamed of myself for thinking like that in the past ><) thank you for all the things you've done for me, be it the scrap book, the photobook which i took so long to bring to school to show to you, the many letters you wrote to me which none i've replied (i feel like sucha bitch, sorry for using this word but yeah, i'm too nasty towards you i know) or be it the small little actions you do to show your concern for me. I really appreciate them a lot and yes, though i don't show them but i'm really thankful to have you as such a dear lovely close cousin! I apologise for not being able to help with many of your problems (i'm lousy i know) but thanks for not getting bored of me (i'm a really boring person i know people dont laugh with me). thanks for tolerating with all my rants and nonsense. thanks for always watching out to see if i'm fine. thanks for appearing in my life my dear :) i think i'm seriously gonna cry very hard if one day you really got enough of me and decided to chuck me out of your mind (touch wood) but i seriously cant imagine life without you :/ so in conclusion, i really thank you for loving me so much. Yes i love you my wonderful friend too! It's really heartwarming and awesome-much to see that you've become more optimistic in 2011! So please keep it up and continue to be optimistic!

I'm thankful for having you as a close friend. Thank you for taking time to go shopping with me though shopping with me isnt as fun as shopping with your other girls :/ thanks for making me feel comfortable when hanging out and shopping with you. thanks for being such a caring friend, somebody whom i can confide in too. I'm really glad we became close friends again after the 6 years of stranger-ship (lol) in primary school. Without you I would have nobody to go shopping with! hahaha. But of course our friendship isnt just about shopping i know :) so yeah, girl i hope you'll continue to stay optimistic! But do feel free to confide in me whenever you need a listening ear, i will be more than willing to listen! ;D don't ever use worrying that you'll disturb me as an excuse to not text me when you need a listening ear (unless you don't like to confide in me anymore ;/ congratulations for clinching the 3rd place in class last year! You're having your Olevels this year, work hard and i'm sure you'll do well! All the best! and i certainly love you truck loads from earth to neptune and back to earth, hahaha! ;DDD

3. Lew Kah Seng :)

Okay first time i'm going to talk more about you in blog post ._. i hope nothing goes wrong so i'll just keep it short and sweet, heehee. Thanks for giving me an opportunity to know you better :) yes i know in your tens hundreds thousands millions of friends you're really nice but somehow people who dont know you certainly dont think that way. Thanks for caring for me, keeping a lookout for me, not wanting me to be alone when i'm alone (though i dont mind being alone at times). I still remember how you approached me in canteen when i was sitting alone in canteen eating when actually I was waiting for Fiona and Wen Jie to buy their food and join me after that. Thanks for letting me break your heart tens hundreds thousands times and somehow they miraculously heal, LOL. Kidding. I apologise for the OCMC misunderstanding, i seriously hope it was a misunderstanding because i will really kill myself if i said something nasty like that. Thanks for tolerating with my rants though you havent see how i really rant, perhaps. Thanks for bothering about me though i literally seem like i don't care. I'm not sure when all these will end but thanks for entering my life and letting me see the good side of you which many people have seen but also many have not seen. thanks for baking for me and i do feel really bad for not finishing them =X with that, i hope you'll stop forgetting about the importance of eating regularly and rest whenever you play. Okay i don't see how is this short and sweet, lol.

4. Michelle Oh Hui Ling :)

HI i'm super glad that you initiate that we go for kfc breakfast last year. That was when we started catching up with each other after drifting apart when we were in different classes in secondary 3. I was really happy that we still had so much to talk about and i still feel very comfortable confiding in you! and i certainly love how we meet up once in a while to update each other about our lives! and you this all rounded girl, i certainly do envy you at times for having such a fun-loving personality. I envy you for being able to joke and fool around and click with almost everyone around you when playing and yet get so serious when it comes to work. Yes i really do envy you for being able to do that. Yes i said envy, not jealous. haha. Thanks for teaching me to not to be competitive, especially in terms of academic results. And yes, honestly i still feel inferior towards you at times, like what you think of me etc but i still love you very very much and girl i hope you'll recover fully soon and get on the track and run soon! ;D

5. Lim Yi Bin :)

HI BROTHER! hahaha. I'm glad that we've known each other for so many years, at least ten years i guess! I love you very much, as a friend and brother of course! You're really niceeeeeee can! Another Mr Nice! hahah. I think you're really independent and strong and gentlemannnnnnn! Thank you for helping me when playing joker during class chalet, like trying to use eye contact to tell me who has the joker card (although we failed, haha!) and switching cards with me secretly so that i didnt have to eat another spoonful of rice in the middle of the night! see, so nice of you can! I had a really great time during class chalet partly because of you :) I like how both of us keep getting the joker cards at the same time and how we purposely knock the bottle down to trick Nicholas Lim that we have the joker cards, hahaha! And so i definitely love you a lot as a brother! Your future girlfriend will be blessed to have you as a boyfriend uh, hahaha. But don't forget me when you get a girlfriend horh! hahaha! And come to think of it, i do regret not talking more often with you in secondary school, especially during upper secondary life. But still, thanks for being such an awesome brother! ;D

6. Ng Yang Tin :)

You're really an angel to me. Thanks for teaching me to be considerate, caring, courteous and thankful. Thanking cleaners when they help us wipe the tables clean, helping to stack boxes up in the ABC shop in 883 when they fell, always putting others before yourself and ensuring people around you arent left out. Honestly I feel so ashamed of myself for being so selfish and rude. So i thank you for making a positive impact on my life and for making me change for the better (still in progress :/ but am trying hard! :) ) I'm sorry for all the nonsense you had to go through early in 2011. I didnt have the courage to speak up for you to save you from all those tears. But i was glad to see a happier you when you were hanging out with your GB friends instead. Or else i would have felt worse. Thanks for being so forgiving and i think i really need to learn how to lead more by love like what you do. You're really hardworking and self-disciplined. I'm sure you'll do well for Olevels! :)

7. Teo Sheng Rong :)

Hi hi, it feels good to be your close friend (or maybe not that close anymore) since you really treat me much better now compared to the past when you disliked me. haha.

It's fun talking with you since you just have that sense of humour that makes me laugh. Thanks for adding laughter to my life and i'm glad you initiated to catch up with each other at Subway at RP that time so that we can have a sort of heart to heart talk. You've really matured and you're no longer that blunt but sometimes i do miss the old bitchy sheng rong. haha! I'm sorry i dont know how to help you with your problems. I hope you're fine! and hey! i reallly hope we can go for a ktv session before we start tertiary education! :)

8. Koh Wen Jie :)

Many things happened this year. I don't want to say much but i still want to thank you for bringing laughter to my life and making the atmosphere not-awkward when we hang out during recess. Thanks for hanging out with me during recess and for doing most of the talking some times, LOL. Yes it saves me the trouble from talking and the awkward situation. Okay i wa shalf kidding. Haha. I choose to believe that you appreciate your friends, but just that you don't show them :)

OMG i can't believe my last post was on 29 November 2011.

Sorry, I'm seriously just too lazy to blog.

Sometimes i wonder how some bloggers manage to make themselves feel comfortable with sharing about their daily life with the public. But oh well, isnt that the purpose of a blog? I'm contradicting myself :/

I think i'm gonna type 3 posts straight at a go (if i don't get chased out by my sister) and provided that i have the time.

So i'll just start with an update of what i did in December 2011 although it's a bit meaningless but hey! it isn't! Okay i'm nuts ._.

I guess i was still finding jobs in the first week of December and one fateful day (8 December 2011), most of them came calling -.- a bit like wts uh, no job jiu no job, got job all come. Make me have a hard time choosing. But still at least better than no job uh! Wanted FnB initially but in the end i refuse to apply make-up since i go for natural (hehe) so i decided to go help my poor sissy (sister actually). So i officially became a somewhat admin assistant at IPP Financial something something on 9 December 2011. Work was still all right i guess. Funny and lovely colleagues, friendly boss (i hope i don't regret saying this :x). Okay i shall not elaborate too much first since I've decided to dedicate a post to conclude my work experience after i stop working. And hell yeah, the food at tanjong pagar and chintown is like SERIOUSLY DAMN GOOD! but this means growing fatter T.T

Oh and i met kahseng on 6 December to have an advance birthday celebration with him for his birthday and passed him his birthday gift. Went for job interview at Ippudo too which i rejected after that ._. Thanks for the treat too! And oh, the cold rock/stone (i can never get this right) at Somerset 313 was niceeeeeeeeeeeee, but sinful :X

And so December was about sending emails to my beloved Jazlyn as well since she was away in America but she's safe and sound and back in Singapore now! :)

So how did i spend my Christmas? Dinner with family (except sissy :( ) at a restaurant/cafe called "The Queen and Mangosteen" at Vivocity. Yes sounds like some alien place but the food there is rather good, though i prefered the sides to the mains, hahaha. Love how they do up the sweet potatoes! Yum yum! Tried Yigloo for the first time which wasnt really up to expectations and bought a blouse which sadly didnt turn out very nice on me too :( Had Swensens ice cream on Boxing Day which i ate a looooooooooooooooooooooooooooot and regretted a looooooooooooooooooooooooooooooot after that (this always happens whenever i eat ice cream since once i start, i cant stop. So next time you see me eating ice cream, please do me a favour by snatching the ice cream away from me and eat it all up. Thank you very much :)) okay maybe this shall be one of my new year resolutions, HAHAHAH.

So i woke up the next next day (yes it's not a typo, i'm referring to 28 December 2011) and i realised i grew fatter. WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAT! Okay this post is getting crappy and whiny. I certainly envy girls who can eat eat eat and eat without getting fat. But i shall be contented with what i have and be more self-disciplined to exercise more often (yes that's one of my new year resolutions too!)

And i spent my last year of 2011 with my dearest kaili! Finally met up with her to go shopping at Orchard/ Somerset and Bugis. So we met at like eleven and reach somerset and walked around cineleisure and had lunch at some place called Ruyi and walked around Wisma since we were waiting for the clock to struck two in the afternoon as we wanted to go flea market at Scape since according to google, flea starts only at 2pm. So if the information on google isnt accurate, can any kind souls kindly correct me so I won't have to wait until 2pm the next time i want to visit a flea market and so that i have more time to shop at bugis? (Wow look at the loooooooong sentence O.O) In the end I didnt get anything from there which was really sad. I was hoping the shoe store where sissy bought her 2 pairs of chiooooooooooo and cheap shoes would be there so that i can maybe get some nice pair of shoes for myself but no it wasnt there so i was kind of sad but it's okay. But glad that Kaili got her mask though! :) and so i think i still have around 14 pairs of shoes minus away 2 pairs of shoes i threw away recently since they've spoilt :( train-ed to Bugis and started shopping! Didnt see anything which is like a MUST-BUY to me this time round so i end up with only one light green sleeveless chiffon top for myself (oh dear i should stop getting myself chiffon tops!) and a dark grey cardigan which wasnt a really must have. But i got it since Kaili wants one and buying 2 = getting them at a cheaper price. But i got younger sis a set of clothes (dull blue sleeveless top + high waist pants) and a packet of grape rock stickys for her. Left Bugis at 9plus near ten. Latest I've stayed there so far but i didnt get anything much for myself but it's all right :) Most importantly it's a well day spent with Kaili before she starts school! ;D and so i reached home with my right shoulder and both legs aching like mad and counted down to 2012 at home with dad + mum + younger sis. Oh yeah younger sis was real happy i bought her mad love stickys for her. I saw the first time how the people there make stickys as well! pretty cool but tough :O

and then it's a brand new year!

HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE! (wa i seriously damn slow)

it's 2012!

Met Wen Jie at cwp and accompanied her to buy camera at Courts, has been a long time ever since I went out with her. Haha, walked around, she breakfast-ed + lunch-ed and she went home while i met Mum and younger sister.

Walked around to find some CNY clothes. I bought one dress from Mila! So I've got 3 dresses from there now. Somehow only the dresses from Mila can make me have the urge to really go and buy them (yeah, those MUST-BUYS) since for formal dresses, i prefer those with frills and laces. Okay why am I even saying all these when most probably nobody will read or care hahaha but it's fine i just feel like typing them. Met dad and had early dinner and home. And oh, during dinner, I randomly asked dad what was his reaction when he first knew mum was pregnant with twins (Chea Chee and me) hahaah.

And so i wanted to jog in the evening but i was worried if i'll have indigestion since i had dinner one hour before that and my legs were sort of aching probably due to weather so i decided to postpone it to tomorrow. Oops, i seriously hope i'm not procastinating and it's only the first day of 2012! ;x

So i'm not working tomorrow and i shalll see what plans i have tomorrow other than jogging.

Ok so i'm here to blog, i'm a bit slow on updating uh, sorry =X

Tuesday, was first day of Red Camp 8.

Went to Ngee Ann with Jie Min, Ashlie, Michelle and Diyanah.

Went to School of Engineering which was totally boring to me since i'm not interested in engineering.

Had CCA try-out: archery which was quite fun but made me have severe muscleache the next day, magic tricks and balloon scupture, floorball and dance.

Giant and Tiny were really funny, heheh.

So day 1 was still all right since they could attract us to go back with the shirt and mass dance.

Wednesday, had to miss red camp due to Netball Farewell and Prom Night.

Netball Farewell was quite fun and all right. Haha

Didnt play courtwork, next was amazing race. The clues a bit misleading uh, haha.

The most funny station was Xiao Yun's station, had to do a lot silly stuff uh, hahaha.

Then was this mascot game, which was damn funny.

And Sec 4s won since we had the most creative and funny mascot, hehe.

Next was lunch, had 2 pieces of pizza and skipped the fried chicken wings.

Said some stuff to juniors and we received our farewell gifts.

Melody gave seniors stickys as well! so sweeeeeeeeet of her :)

Took pictures and went home.

Thanks to juniors, teachers and seniors who made this farewell party a success and an enjoyable one :)

Went home, bath, prepared things for prom and went to apply make-up.

Initially thought it was too heavy, but guess it turned out all right, heee

Went to Yang Tin's house to get my nails painted and hair plaited, all thanks to KONG KAILI!

Changed and went to Orchard Hotel in Yang Tin's dad's car with Jazlyn, Afiqah, Yang Tin and Grace.

Reached, registered and doors opened shortly after.

Had some games and ate and took pictures, dance floor which i didnt join and took more pictures.

Everybody look so AWESOME, haha.

Okay, though i didnt join in the dance floor, i enjoyed taking pictures!

I miss Prom Night 2011 :( but it had to end so fast, and the food wasn't as good as last year's except smoked salmon.

But i still enjoyed myself! and it was definitely worth it to miss Red Camp Day 2 for Prom and Farewell Party :)

Thursday, Red Camp Day 3.

I was damn tired and i had a hard time removing make up the previous night ><

Kept sneezing in the morning.

We went to some school about infocomm or something like that and School of Business.

Sad that i missed School of Life Science on Day 2, but oh well, open house perhaps.

Had Mass Dance which i didnt know how to dance since we missed it on Day 2.

Camp Finale was all right and took train home with Michelle, Jie Min and Kah Seng.

Jie Min was a bit too high -.- lol.

Overall, felt that Prom night was more enjoyable than Red Camp 8, though many many people feel the other way.

Perhaps i'm just not those hyper type. haha

Friday, stayed at home to upload pictures!

Too many to upload uh, until i was banned from tagging -.-

Stayed at home on Saturday.

Went to have Sushi Tei and Maggie Moo's ice cream on Sunday.

Omg, 've been eating so much for the past week and yet i'm so lazy to go exercise =X

I MUST MUST MUST GO EXERCISE LATER.

Went to Recruit Express yesterday with Chea Chee and Marie, should have gone there earlier, I NEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEED A JOB! T.T

HELLO WORLD.

OMG, *REVIVAL OF THE BLOG*

It has been jsfpojsvwhg90nwnlvknspnsnfsw long ever since I last updated my blog! I guess I've even forgotten how to edit html codes! Hahaha -.-

So, i was reading some of my posts and suddenly had the urge to update my blog, so here I am!

Nobody reads them anyway, heh.

I've been shopping for straight 3 days ever since O's ended.

Last paper was on Tuesday, walked around cwp and went home.

Wednesday, went Bugis with Kaili!

Yes I swear she's damn excited to go out with her darling, ahahha.

Was hunting for prom dresses, chanced upon some at illuma and tried them on.

Nice uh, but price tag super not nice;(

Walked around Bugis Street, then went to have lunch at this some "Red Pot" store.

Quite nice and special uh, I ordered this mian xian which comes with a BIG red pot of soup and many mini mini side dishes.

You pour everything inside and tada! Time for lunch!

It's nice but the soup is oily uh! =X haha

Then continue to walk around Bugis Street, saw more prom dresses but decided to source for more at other places before deciding which to get.

So i came home with 1 top and 2 bottoms and i bought earrings for younger sissy and azukian mochi for mummy from ion foodhall, yes i know ima goooooooood girl x)

Thursday, was procastinating about going for interview at Cotton On.

Omg, i seriously have to stop procastinating, especially for jogging! ;((

Ended up going for interview with Michelle and Nabil!

train-ed all the way to Novena, but the interview was closed due to overwhelming response uh :(

Decided to check out Uniqlo at Somerset, but they're only hiring full time ones, aish.

So decided to go Far East Plaza to shop shop.

Gosh, 16 years in Singapore but this is my first time there, lol ><

Tried on some prom dresses but quite expensive uh.

Bought 1 pair of high-waist shorts while michelle got her cardigan.

train-ed home with Michelle and Nabil after that, haha.

Nice impromptu "outing" with them, hahaha ;)

Friday, went for a jog in the morning! Didn't complete my goal though :(

Rushed and met Jazlyn for movie at cwp.

So i've been spending money these few days. *bye savings*

In the end i camped at home during the weekends, too lazy to go out. haha

And i'm supposed to go for a job interview with Lay Ping today, but it was cancelled this morning, aww.

Now i'm thinking if I should get accessories for prom, I'm thinking if i should go shopping, gahh I also don't know what i'm thinking.

Red Camp tomorrow, hope it's fun.

Woah, it has been a while ever since i updated my blog. Shall rewind then ;) and i realised i typed wrongly in my previous post that i would be overseas from 13 to 15 instead of 15 to 17.

15 December
Woke up at 5.45am to prepare, uncle came at 6.30am.
And off we went to KL.
Had breakfast at some dim sum shop in malaysia, the red bean pau is SUPERB
Then proceed on with long long long journey.
slept, woke up, slept and woke up for a few times, but i guess i only managed to take 1 or 2 hours of nap in total.
Stopped at some restaurant in malacca to have late lunch.
And off to KL. Checked in at some Mandarin Court Hotel, rested, and went to Times Square for shopping.
Times Square is super big! but we only managed to shop around 3 storeys even after returning there again after late dinner. Wanted to shop more but family wanted to go back and rest already-.-
Got 1 pair of shoes and 2 pair of shorts from there.
Back to hotel.

16 December
Woke up at 7am.
Prepared and checked out. Had breakfast in the hotel, not nice, haha.
Off to Genting. Reached around 9 or 10.
There was already a crowd, so had to queue long for rides.
The worse thing is, it rained-.- i guess this is the first time it rained when i was in Genting.
So the money spent on the tickets was wasted-.-
Had expensive lunch there since it's meant to scam tourists.
Went indoor afterwards, long queues again but still managed to take 2 rides.
Walked around and went for dinner, which was more worth it than lunch.
I suspect they gave me 1/2 instead of 1/4 since my portion seems super big-.-
Went for more shopping afterwards, bought one pair of shoes, sneakers this time round, since it was cheap ;)
It has been long ever since i bought sneakers, haha.
Went back hotel afterwards since there was nothing much to do.
I felt that it was a waste of time and we should have gone genting on the first day and KL on the second day so that our money for tickets wont be wasted and there will be more time for shopping as well xP

17 December
Woke up later, prepared and checked out.
Went to KL for breakfast. OMG, the pastries they sell is AWESOME, especially when it's just fresh from the oven! take away some to bring home.
Then went to some beach which was a waste of time.
Oh, and there was horse riding there! wanted to try but didnt in the end.
Went to some Hakka restaurant in Malacca for lunch, super late lunch since it was 3 plus close to 4pm.
So, it's like my tea break or early dinner-.-
But the food wasnt too bad ;)
Uncle drove us to some places where tourists will definitely not go to buy some food back.
FOOD AGAIN ;D
That's one of the things i like about having uncle as the driver, because he will bring us to places with gooooooooooood food! ;) thank you!
Then took some pictures near twin tower and off to JB
loooooooooong journey back.
Uncle dropped us at City Square to shop for a while.
I didnt buy anything else since we have spent quite a lot.
Had light dinner which ended up quite filling in the end-.-
Had a bit of gelato, omg. I had ice cream for everyday from 12 to 15 dec =X
Bought bread from Lavender, yes, foooood again then off to check point.
The alarm at the scanning machine somehow rang which made me look like an illegal immigrant-.-
Then finally, reached home! I was dreading to come back to Singapore since it meant returning to reality from fantasy, except for being able to sms with friends again.

18 December
Had YLC8 meeting at Macs at Serene Centre.
Dont ask me where is it because i don't know too.
I almost got lost with cars honking at me when trying to find the bus stop back-.- i know i have no sense of direction
Bus-ed back to Woodlands with Gigi. Chatted quite a bit on the bus;)

19 December
Went to collect scholarship.
Then went to CWP for lunch at Swensens.
Has been a while ever since i went there.
But the noise from the renovation completely ruined the ambience.
Had baked rice and ice cream, walked around a little and back home.
Jogged near 7pm. Timing still sucks although i thought i ran faster. But it still feels good after a jog.

20 December
OGL Training
Things cropped up right in the morning, but slowly things got better as it got later.
Overall, i think that "backstage" was run well, but "on stage" wasn't really that well.
But still, kudos to OCMC'11 for the effort and OGL training was still a success ;)
There's definitely space for improvement though! ;)
And i feel closer to OCMC after OGL Training, which is a goooood thing ;)
Had some fun times, example playing with walkie talkie in OPS Room xD
and the "human to monkey" chain thing which WeiXiong and Benedict started ;D
Jiayou OCMC' 11, and make Secondary One Orientation Camp even better! ;)))

Today
Edited schedules from morning till afternoon-.-
It could have been completed earlier bu found that another wayu would be better, so changed everything.
I'm supposed to start on homework! GAH!

Class bbq was not too bad.

Though me and wenjie gt scammed for some so-not-nice mango ice for such a high price-.-

Class bbq got more and more fun when it got later, perhaps partly because there were fewer people. Everyone got together to bbq, teng yee was one of the really funny ones.

But had to leave soon after bbq got more fun =(

back to admiralty to meet kahseng to pass him tys and had lunch together.

back home, rest, watch tv, and off to orchard.

Had dinner at sushi tei (this time at ngee ann city). For once i wasn't bloated after eating at suhi tei. And it makes me wonder whether it's because my appetite has grown bigger or i ate lesser.

Somebody please recommend me another nice japanese restaurant in singapore so that i can stop going there when somebody in the family craves for japanese cuisine.

And i was craving for Swensens yesterday! Ice cream! Baked rice!

Went to Wisma Atria later for shopping.

Managed to walk around more this time. Saw super nice but super expensive bracelets from green petals. And bought a tee from Pepperplus! ;)

And there's this yogurt shop called Sour Sally, and OMG THE YOGURT IS SUPER ULTRA EXTREMELY REALLY VERY NICEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE! I'm craving for one now-.-

Went home soon since it was already quite late.

Back home to watch tv. The storyline of the movie is boring, but luckily there were some funny elements.

Netball training. OMG I MANAGED TO ENDURE THROUGH THE WHOLE TRAINING AGAIN.

I kept telling myself to endure, partly because i'm gonna miss training on Wednesday.

AND I DID IT! okay, maybe it's nothing to some of you. but it's a BIG something to me ;D

2 December
Went Daiso at SSC with mum and younger sister.
Bought some things, had a hard time choosing and spent a long time choosing =X

3 December
Went to watch movie with mum, twin, younger sister and Romaine!
Wanted to catch the 2.50pm one, but only super front seats were left, so watched the 5pm one instead. made me gobble up my lunch for nothing-.-
So, walked around cwp aimlessly while waiting for movie to start and it finally started.
Overall, found it quite nice, at least nicer than Megamind, but i think there are greater movies ;)
And one of the previews caught my eye!
Had nice dinner at banquet, saw Shanq Kuen and walked home with younger sister.
She kept rushing me to eat faster-.-

4 December
YLC8 meeting at NWCDC Office.
and i discovered that Metro was having 20% off storewide sales!
OMG OMG! wanted to buy clothes uh, but decided not to in the end, and i regretted on the next day-.-

never had stitches while doing sprints before ;(

My 200th post! Lol, yes, only the 200th, haha

28th November
Went to Plaza Singapura with family, has been quite a while ever since i went there.
Had dinner at Let's Sweets!
Gosh, i have been hoping to eat there, haha.
I like the pudding and green tea stuff the most, pudding has a special texture and the green tea smell is strong enough ;D
Nice nice! hehe, and the salmon and saba fish came out too late but in time for my dad to get some, if not he's gonna complain that it's not worth the price, haha.
A pity that there wasnt any mochi which they are rather famous for.
And the feeling when u eat buffet is shiok, but i swear that the after effect is torturing!
I felt so horrible after eating, guess maybe because i was too full or what =X
Walked around Plaza Singapura after that, and went home soon.
Sometimes it's so sian that i wanted to shop somemore when we haven't really shop much but some of my other family members want to go home.
Oh well,

29th November
Netball training in the morning, something worrying happened.
But i'm glad Jie Min is okay now =)
I didnt cry when you were in that state, because i believe that you are strong enough to pull through! ;D

30th November
Met netballers in the morning to do up card and fruit basket.
Lunch-ed at cwp and mrt-ed to Novena.
Walked around Novena square first, realised it changed so much and i've totally got no impression of it.
Went to visit Jiemin, and am super glad that she's fine! She's super funnny uh, haha!

mrt-ed back to woodlands, wanted to eat at novena but xiaoyun didnt want to accompany me!
It was raining heavily and i got half-drenched after being in the rain for less than 10 seconds-.-

Netball training in the morning, OMG! I finally pulled through the whole stamina training! LIKE FINALLY, AFTER SO MANY STAMINA TRAININGS. I FINALLY DIDNT DROP OUT AND COMPLETED ALL THE SETS! OMG OMG, CAN YOU BELIEVE IT? ;DDD
went home to bath, to school to find wenjie, to rp to buy lunch, to school to have lunch and to itrr1 for OCMC meeting.
Meeting was fun during cheering and medic lecture part, haha!
it was fun doing your side cheer, singing inspirational song and norizwan is funny! haha!
walked home with Kahseng after that, thanks for the souvenir! ;D

Attire and manners, omg

Went to Cold Storage at cwp and Fairprice at 888 after that to get ingredients for cooking and baking.

Went Jazlyn's house to make baked rice and bake chocolate cupcakes with Jazlyn, Jocelyn and Priscilla.

It was fun :), and had been quite a long time ever since i cooked/baked.

But i took in too much calories yesterday=X

The cupcake was nice when it's warm since the chocolate inside melts, but i find it a bit too sweet.

Maybe because I don't really have a sweet tooth, haha.

But overall, it's still nice!

Things got better at home.

27November

It was boring. Even Doraemon was boring.

Slept for around 1.5hour since i woke up early without feeling tired initially which i didn't know why.

And followed mum to Fairprice at Civic Centre to do some grocery shopping.

Saw Jazlyn, get well soon :)

Monday.

Reached school at about 7.30am

Prepared stuff and councillors reported.. blah blah

yearly meeting, ice breakers, team dynamics.

I guess team dynamics didnt go that well.

puzzle frame and then lunch. Lunch wasnt that nice.

Did cny recording and councillors went for amazing race.

Stayed in school to have my lunch and prepare for terror hunt.

Rahayu brought me chocolates! it was SUPERRRRRRRRR GOOOOOOOOOOOD!

omg omg, perhaps because it has slightly melted, so once you bite the chocolate, the liquid chocolate contained inside just flows out! NICE NICE!

OMG, and i went crazy after eating them, LOL

dark chocolate, orange truffle, and banana flavour one. yes, i know it's weird, lol.

then as groups came in late after amazing race, had to cancel wet game =(

coucillors washed up while i couldnt, lol. i was super sticky at that time le.

dinner, dinner was slighly better than lunch? and ruixia came back!

next was horrow movie screening, watched Grudge.

overall, found the story line boring, but some scenes were scary, screamed damn loudly + high pitch, lol

But Dead Silence was even scarier, i think.

Then proceeded to terror hunt, stayed at quadrangle and met some alumni.

debrief for the day, supper and councillors went to sleep.

TIME FOR EXCO TO BATH! haha, then went to AVA Room to sleeeeep!

But i guess we didnt really sleep.

I was tired at first, but rahayu woke me up after "raping" me -.-

photos on facebook, lol.

gossiped with some EXCO members.

watched some videos and fell asleep for around 30 minutes.

wanted to try not sleeping for a night but failed, lol.

then woke up, wash up. mac delivery came, treated exco members and teachers mac breakfast with rahayu.

saw vietnam trip peeps, wanted to say bye but didnt afterall =/

and i regretted after they have left-.-

sent jazlyn off and prepared councillors' breakfast.

area cleaning, then to ava room for some games and dance and prize presentation.

blah blah and break camp.

I'm glad to see that the councillors have enjoyed the camp. I guess amazing race and terror hunt played a big part.

I'm glad to see that the councillors are more bonded with one another now.

and, i'm glad that 9th EXCO's effort paid off =)

Yeap, i guess this will be the last major event we have to plan, and i guess i will miss you all after stepping down =( lol, now my urge to step down asap isnt that strong anymore, partly due to what amir told me about life after stepping down too.

packed up, back home. slept for less than 6 hours in total in the afternoon. was still tired but just couldnt fall asleep.

had netball training this morning. stamina training, i was resting my eyes during some of the breaks, lol, too tired.

AND THE WEATHER WAS FREAKING, BURNING HOT!

I can't remember what i did for thursday.

OCMC meeting on Friday, went home and to civic centre for EXCO briefing.

Sometimes it's so difficult.

Sunday, busy doing final preparation for council camp.

yeah, although this is my last year, but i won't hope that i will enter main 12.

i don think i can contribute much if i am in the team
read points 1 and 2 again

I guess this is the first time i'm talking so openly about netball. Anyway, others like xiao yu and melody are doing so too. Not many people read my blog too, heee

I was planning to go for a run later since i'm missing training tomorrow and i don't want my stamina to drop. But it's raining. Yeah, speaking of rain, DON'T RAIN TOMORROW PLEASE PLEASE.

I'm finally here to update my blog.

But i guess not many people reads too, too lazy to tag others and to reply tags too.

I can't remember what happened for the past few days eh.

Let's just post some random stuff i can remember.

1. I wan to go shopping! But somehow shopping with family will only be fun when they are keen to buy things. I wanna go AMK Hub, Far East Plaza, Tampines One etc etc. As for Bugis, not yet. Haha

2. I had the sudden urge to work few days ago, but with my busy schedule, I bet I will get fired even before i get my first pay-.-

3. So life has been about netball and OCMC meetings.

5. Went to watch Mega Mind with Amir yesterday! It was super cold, that i could feel it even before i stepped into the cinema. I was late, sorry for making u wait, amir! I find the movie so so uh, when others keep saying it's nice leh =X the chat on the train was nice though. Wanted to chat more but reached woodlands le, haiz.

I didn't know it has been one week ever since i last updated my blog.

I can't remember what i did on wednesday.

Netball training?

Thursday.

Last day of school, didn't feel anything much, except for during use your hands campaign,

for the first time i felt that 3/5 finally has some class spirit =X

somebody agrees with me too.

but that's a good thing, let's hope we will improve as a class =]

Then off to rp for panellists training. I find that the role play really did help

and back home, something happened, but it's all right now.

Friday

EXCO meeting in the morning, pool-ed --FOR THE FIRST TIME

not bad eh, it's my first time and i managed to score some goals, but of course it's regardless of solid or stripes. hahaha

Then off to bugis with Wenjie and Yangtin.

Had quite a good time with them, back home with a dress, a shirt that comes with a vest and a necklace.

Oh oh, and the food at some food centre near sjab hq is damn cheap and nice! haha

back home at around 8plus pm, 12 hours outside, lol

Saturday

EXCO and Panellists chalet.

trained and bused all the way to downtown east to coasta sands resort.

Went to buy bbq stuff after checking in.

bbq-ed later. It was almost cancelled due to the rain but luckily it stopped after a while.

Left at 9.30pm unwillingly because parents didn't allow me to stay overnight.

Sunday

went all the way to downtown east again.

this time to escape theme park.

Singapore seriously do something about it please -.-

the only thing i enjoyed there is viking since i didnt play wet and wild.

i find it a waste of money, lol.

had the soft swirl there, not as nice as expected, but nevermind. haha

Monday

Netball training in the morning, sprained my ankle again -.-

Shucks, even though i wore my ankle guard O.o

Seriously i lost count of how many times i sprained both my ankles.

To ocmc meeting after that.

I'm trying hard and let's all improve together =)

I want ocmc to bond together and enjoy the planning and execution stage! :)))

Saturday

Went CWP for dinner and to buy sports shoes.

Finally decided to get a new pair, LIKE FINALLY, really.

I don't even know how i got myself such a big pair of sports shoes last time-.-

That it made me so not comfortable running.

Went to 3 shops to look at the sports shoes, and finally back to the first one.

Tried on many =X

And finally got a pink one, i think it's too pink, lol

But no choice, only design which has my size, because my feet is rather small. LOL

I guess this is my first time not being able to get a pair of shoes i want because my feet is too small, lolol.

So much for laughing at my sisters when they couldnt get shoes because of their BIG feet-.-

Sunday

Went to Bugis with family, it has been so long ever since I went there with them, lol

I shall go there to shop soon!

Bought a cropped jacket there=)

Monday

School-ed in the morning.

Had to skip panellists meeting because of CCA.

Trained at the court near Woodlands Primary School.

I totally regretted not putting on sunblock-.-

It was cloudy but i completely forgot that UV rays can bounce off clouds and become stronger-.-

Ended up with sunburn, zzz

I'm glad i pulled through sprinting, but definitely have to improve since many of us were running instead of sprinting.

Then bus-ed to court beside 336 to train shots.

Ended up the netball pole was shorter than actual and we used the basketball one instead, but there isn't of much use since the hoop is bigger. Haha

Then bus-ed to CWP. The rest went to macs. Wanted to join but can't since i still have my 2 uncompleted zuo wen which was due the next day and mum had cooked my dinner.

Bought bbt from each a cup - mango ice blended with aloe vera!

Home and wrote zuo wen, while watching tv-.- ended up couldnt finish and went to sleep.

Today

School as usual, 2 period of physics was dry and tiring.

Practised shots during recess

Ended up hungry during Chemistry class. School ended.

Met Mdm Shen with tsr for a while for the competition and off to gelare!

Met some netballers there and we shared 3 waffles with 9 scoops of ice cream!

Then bought curry puff and walked home with Michelle and Haidah. We were talking about classes, lol.

Such a sinful lunch=X

Slacked and blah blah and here i am.

Uh, somebody please give me the motivation to start studying for my chinese o's before i run out of time, especially with all the CCAs and meetings coming up=X

I realised that other than courage and hardwork, determination plays a very big part as well/

Then to school for SC workshop, not bad, but i felt that there could have been activities which can bring out the essence of presentation more?

Had mini birthday celebration for EXCO's October babies =)

And lunch-ed at 7-eleven. Their waffle is nice =D

Back to school for Panellists training, different trainer this time round.

Not bad too =) shared tips with my group members: xiao yan, wei jie and guo feng.

Hope they really learned something from me.

Back to school. School was boring.

Got back results.

Rather disappointed with Higher Chinese and Biology.

I feel that for those i did well for MYE, i did badly for EOY, and vice versa?

Whatever.

I wonder if my parents are disappointed.

But i don't know how i feel. Lol

School, and CCA after that.

I feel so guilty during CCA =X

I must work hard!

And oh, Mdm Oh said something during HMT class which made my heart sink.

But i'm just ranting =) I know that's not all that matters.

Today

Had EXCO meeting in the morning at rp.

I was nice to promise EXCO to release them by 1pm so that they can go and play in the afternoon!

Although i released them at 1.04pm in the end><, hee

Grabbed waffle for lunch, pity that it has turned cold!

So long ever since i posted.
finally here to clear the dust and cobwebs since exams have ended.

so, went out with jazlyn yesterday to lot one and cwp to get presents.
i'm glad i got my younger sister something useful and which she likes.
and got my yami yogurt!

had SL RETREAT today!
it was super fun fun fun! especially with my dear lobsters! hehe
woke up early to go have mac breakfast with sheng rong, wen jie and yangtin =)
then to school to gather, board the bus and off to ecp.
got the bikes and double bike-ed with kahseng.
had to try out and see if can balance or not, and i think i screamed the loudest><
proceeded with the activity. it was fun cycling! haha, ks's an expert
we went the wrong way for our last destination and kept cycling around.
at the end, we got an ice cream treat from ms jasmine lim too, thanks!
yeah! i love lobsters! wonderful group members!
thanks kah seng for double biking me! =) i know it's tough on you><

back to school for lunch, buffet wasnt as nice as expected.
discussed about chalet and to dance studio for discussion.
that feeling is back, haiz.

but overall, i enjoyed sl retreat :)
i guess it's opposite from last year.
the discussion venue and food last year was superb. but the activity part this year was better=)
lessons learnt as well ;)

it has been so long ever since i login to blogger, lol
had this sudden urge to finally blog, hee

saw many people's blog with the day 1 to day 30 thing.
so apparently, it got me thinking for a while.
and no, i'm not gonna blog about all the 30 topics luh, haha.

Hey! somehow in one way or another, you will pop up in my mind occassionally, and the number of times i suddenly think of you is increasing recently, lol.
i cant really remember how you look like anymore, but if i'm not wrong, you look quite tanned and you have a pair of big eyes, and double eyelids. hahaha
and oh, i remember that you are one year older than me!
i remember how nice you were to everybody everytime during hypy classes on every saturday morning at yang lao shi's house.
i remember how "君子" you were towards everybody, especially when all of the students are girls except for you, like how you will comfort me when i cry and xiang jun cries.

sometimes i wonder how are you now.
i remember we met each other once in a clinic after hypy classes have ended. i still remember our mothers were talking about multiplication table, haha.
and then, i will see your mother once in a while, and gradually, no sight of you or your mother anymore. i wonder, have you moved house?
or perhaps both of us have grown up and our looks have changed and even if we meet each other on the streets, we may not be able to recognise each other anymore. but somehow i wish if we really will pass by each other one day, my instincts will tell me that it's you;)
sometimes i wonder are you still the same 君子 like how you were when you are six?
i definitely hope so.
because the scariest thing that can happen to a good child is to change negatively in terms of character throughout their growing years;/

i hope we will meet someday, or even keep in contact after that;)

hello hello!
i'm finally here to update my blog!
how lame of me right, blogging only when school is gonna reopen in another 2 days time-.-
i don't want school to reopen!
and oh, before you miss it, there's another post below about taiwan trip, posted halfway on 20 march, and continued and finally published on 25june! LOL
don't ask me why my mood is ruined, because i forgot why! MUAHAHA -.-"

okay, many things happen in these 3 months.
shall touch and go, *flips open scheduler*

bascially, was busy with speech day rehearsals in early part of april.
was emcee, along with haiqal.
lessons learned=)

then was mye, first time having exams in hall.
i was damn cold on the first day while having english paper, kept writing the wrong word=X
mye results were fine, i guess.
but had many careless mistakes for chemistry and e maths uh.
k, enough

then was june holiday.
1st 2 weeks busy with cca and student council stuff.
Primary Prefects Training 2010 and Student Council Farewell Party, lessons learnt O.o
oh, and i personally feel that the gifts for the graduating councillors was the best part, and it's all hand made =DDD
made cookies at priscilla's house with jazlyn too, had extra so we mixed with nutella and peanut butter, lol
3rd week was OBS!
okay, i'm gonna post about OBS!

day 1
gathered at school, took the van to OBS reception centre.
was in the same group as Jocelyn, if only riversidians weren't splitted up, then i guess we would have enjoyed ourselves even more =)
but it was still all right, anw, i think Jocelyn is pro. lol
COLUMBUS!
and instructor's name is llewell(so cool right? spell from left or right also same de! haha)
a.k.a big friendly giant, hahaha. i think he's funny and approachable. but i guess some of the lectures or debriefs he gives arent impactful enough, but i know it isnt easy uh!
took group photo, took ferry to pulau ubin. arrived at camp 2
admin stuff, and went to get 2 big big big containers of food.
food for 5 days, had to split them to last us throughout the camp. it was more than enough uh.
got our happy food (individual snacks actually) but i think it will be better if they are of healtheir choice products? okay, CRAZY ME. don't mind me.
visited store room, etc etc.
and went for belaying. oh, and columbus's buddy group was cook, with jin yong and lin xing. haha
belayed wei jie, he kept saying he doesnt trust me or something like that uh-.-
blah blah, then learned about outdoor cooking and pitching tents.
and trash management too, i swear i hate trash management, read about day 2 to know why.
then, bath, packed bag for expedition, etc etc, slept.
tent mates were jocelyn, suanne, nadirah and lynette, haha

day 2
breakfast, then continued packing for expedition
the bags were damn heavy uh, shared a bag with jocelyn.
and wei jie was nice enough to help us carry it while we tracked to camp 1.
though he complained about the bag, but i'm stilll grateful that he helped uh, hahaha
did rock climbing. buddy was alicia, i wanted to climb to the top, was around 3 tiles away when alicia got stuck and wanted to come down.
wanted to encourage her not to give up but she seemed like she was going to cry anytime soon so had to let her go down.
but i'm still glad that she didnt give up when she wanted to before that =D
then kayak to somewhere else, we had to camp out on day 2 and 3 uh.
kayak with jocelyn and suanne for a short distance.
oh, and i was most worried about the capsize drill initially-.-
reached our destination, and we had to sleep in the woods for that night + no bath.
there wasnt any toilets, only "natural" ones. and the female one is actually a slope, lol
cooked dinner, pitched tents and then trash management-.-
we coooked too much maggi mee uh, then had to dispose it. but you can't dispose it anywhere in the woods because it will attract everything you don't want to attract!
so we were trying to drain the soup from the maggi mee when the cover of the pot dropped and the maggi mee spilled onto the ground! -.-
end up i had to pick up maggi mee + grass + soil from the ground. lol
trash management so troublesome uh.
then debrief and stuff and slept.
had to do sanctuary duty early in the morning at 2 or 3 plus.

day 3
I/C for the day along with nadirah, jing yi and kirby.
it rained again, and we had to go for expedition.
so we actually sat on the blue tarp with our ponchos on while waiting for the rain to stop.
it didnt stop but we still have to set off.
kudos to our navigators including jin yong! luckily we didnt go the wrong way uh, because we were given map and compass to figure our own way to our next destination.
and if we made the wrong turn, we could have walked all the way until night time before we reach our destination uh!
and it was raining real heavily while we were having our expedition. to add on to it, there were the heavy bags and ponchos which werent light at all.
then after like so long, we finally reached our destination!
Jocelyn said my right shoulder was all red after i put down the heavy bag uh, because somehow the pressure of the bag wasnt spread out equally on both sides, but on the right.
rain got smaller by then, and we learned about some square de knots (i forgot the name) and played a game similar to helium bar.
then pitched tents, changed to dry attire, dinner and had to discuss about how to construct a raft.
then constructed raft, i'm really not a profession at ropes uh, don't know how to tie them + no strength + no interests in them. okay, i don't know whether they are excuses or what, XP
and cook was helpful to help us construct our raft too! thanks!
slept, and another sanctuary duty.
oh, and it's really easy to recognise kirby's voice uh!
while sleeping in tents, it was quiet in our tent uh, but the guys were chatting so loudly that we could hear what they were saying.
and kirby was damn funny uh! he said something about rape or molest that made the whole tent burst out laughing! LOL

day 4
breakfast, prepared and set out for our destination - camp 1 in our rafts.
i find it amazing sia, that our raft can actually withstand 16 people's weight and last for 4 hours, lol
yes, we were on the raft for around 4 hours. it's like you can see the destination from far, but no matter how much you pedal, you still haven't reach de! haha
was rather pissed off on the raft during certain periods of time too =X
and we were lacking behind cook partly because there was a hole in one of the pipes in our raft, water entered and made it more difficult for us to pedal forward uh.
and syafik (sp?) fainted on the raft halfway.
i thought it was drama at first, because, this kind of things often happen during camps ma.
but it wasnt an act uh, and cook specially moved back to assist columbus, super nice and helpful =)
then finally reached camp1.
"destroyed" our raft and went for jetty jump!
this jetty jump was much scarier than sec 3 adventure camp's uh!
oh, and the raft in sec 3 adventure camp cannot be compared to the obs one at all, lol XP
okay, jetty jump, kinda similar to those you see in peter pan uh.
thanks to wei jie and another girl from cook who helped to pull me to the ladder after i jumped down, lol =)
then changed to dry attire and tracked back to camp 2.
along the way, haikal and keith fainted uh! i was wondering whether it was drama or real case again uh, because both of them fell at the same time, where got so coincidence!
then some of them sort of panicked, then went to get stretcher which was so coincidental so nearby as well ._. LOL
walked for a distance and the actors stopped their act -.-
ended up a lot people were scolding them for making them worry, lol
and we stopped at this place with some wooden structures, and we were tasked to move 2 stretchers with 3 heavy backpacks on each of the stretcher from one end to another end while stepping on the wooden structure. not easy uh, and most of us just stoned there for the whole hour.
ended up did not manage to complete the task. and llewell and chloe (cook's instructor) "lectured" us.
each of us had to come up and say about the group's positive and negative stuff.
and i guess the lecture did work a bit after that because when we got back to camp 2, i could see more people working to get things done before the time limit uh. and i'm super glad about that=)
even darren helped too! ok, i'm not trying to say he's the laziest or whatsoever, but i guess columbus agrees that he's the slack-est? oops =X
unpacked backpacks (yeah! bye bye heavy bag packs!), cooked dinner, packed store room etc etc. cook helped us again, thanks!=) and bathed too, finally after 2 days
then we had to build our own "tents" for the night.
as usual, ropes arent my profession XD
6 of us squeezed in one "tent" jocelyn, shu jie, me, shervon, jia yi and ling xin.
Shu jie was super funny uh! haha
me: huh, you from chinese dance uh?
sj: huh, don't look like meh?
ended up jocelyn and i burst out laughing sia! because i was just expecting a yes or no as an answer from her, lol
slept and no sanctuary duty!

day 5
woke up, unpitched "tents"
went for some time traveller stuff or what uh
we have to go into some underground hole one by one and crawl in the darkness to the exit while the rest above on the ground will give us comments about ourselves.
quite cool, but i guess it isnt that effective since some things cannot be heard clearly.
had many mosquito bites there.
then went for some debrief, blind spots and rock sculpture=)
lecture by llewell was more effective and impactful to me this time round=)
and llewell and chloe praised columbus and cook for the super neat store rooms we packed on the previous day! =DDD
then continued to pack store rooms, had to do "stock check".
ended up we lost a few things, and had to pay uh.
but they were recovered in the end, just that we had to pay for some metal pole stuff because it snapped while the girls were still sleeping in the tents.
had to clear the leftover food, so i brought home 1 can of vegetables and 1 can of fish luncheon meat and 1 packet of prunes. lol
i guess nobody dared to eat prunes because it will make us shit, LOL
i finished the whole can of vegetables the previous night because nobody wanted them, but i immediately regretted after that, because it made me super full and it was already 8plus pm ><
okay, back to day 5. i don't know why but i was rather hungry on that day sia. i think i had 3 oranges that day and 2 or 3 yogurt bars, lol. thanks to priscilla and zhao wei for the yogurt bars!
oh and before we left camp 1, we had to draw/ write what we did/learn on those 5 days. and i think columbus had a great time laughing! i guess we did have some happy memories as a group as we recapped what happened throughout the 5 days!=D
then everyone gathered and board the ferry back to OBS reception centre.
waited for a long time before we bought the shirts. i wanted the yellow one, but no my size.
so ended up buying one black collar and one pink shirt.
and because i helped others to buy the shirts, i went there with 90 bucks and returned with 1buck, LOL
then waited for ms fu to come and board the bus to go back to school.
went back to school to settle water dispenser stuff and helped a bit with yog stuff.
and as a result, got nagged at home after that ><
wasn't really tired after obs though, i don't know why.
it's just that i turned in slightly earlier only. O.o

although obs didnt turn out as fun as what i've expected, i still brought back happy memories, many once-in-a-lifetime experiences and lessons learnt.

and group members do play a very big part in terms of determining whether the camp will be fun, and although i'm not really close with my group members, i'm super happy that we do share happy memories as a group.

Jing Yi, a very sporty girl! although she seems blur to me at times uh, especially when sorting out food, haha
Alicia, kinda nice girl, don't have to feel guilty for not being able to climb to the top for rock climbing uh, glad that you didnt give up initially when you wanted to, and girl, you overcame your phobia of heights? =D
Phoebe, helpful but do be more confident of yourself!
Jasin, her tone quite high pitch at times uh, caring =)
Lynette, helpful but do open up more!
Suanne, contributes ideas, but do interact more with us^^
Darren, slack-est person in group uh, he's always seen eating-.- but he can be nice when he wants to actually, and he's the only one in Columbus who knows how to tie double figure of 8!

okay, after obs, didnt have much to do on 4th week of holidays. but i don't want school to reopen uh! went for rahayu's advance birthday party bbq, omg, i suddenly love bbq-ing! haha, and the chilli with stingray was damn shiok! i actually ate the stingray because i wanted the chili, lol. wanted to stay longer but had to leave early because of curfew-.-

All right, my mood's spoilt, thanks uh, tsk =/

anyway, i'm back from taiwan!

omg, i want to go taiwan again, especially to shi lin night market!

the things there are real nice and cheap.

it's like, after a trip to taiwan, you will find that even the things at bugis street are expensive too

day 1

woke up at around 4am i think.

prepared and set off for changi airport.

okay, i totally didnt estimate the time well because i reached the airport at 5.10am when everyone is supposed to report at 6am instead-.-

so, went to have breakfast with dad. tricia and her dad joined us later. haha

checked in luggage and board the plane.

5 hours flight to taiwan, sat with tricia and poh geok.

reached the airport in taiwan, met with the tour guide and set off for our destination.

went to ji long night market, bought most of the souvenirs first over there, and i was plain shocked to realise i spent close to NT$2000 on that day. that's scary=S

so i had to control myself for the remaining days.

then went to crystal hotel.

it looks kind of old from the outside, but it's quite okay inside.

room mate was tricia, haha

and quite a number of people commented that our room is the biggest although it's for 2 person only, hah

went to convenience store and bought cup noodles, it's damn oily-.-

blah blah and slept

day 2

breakfast in the hotel, and went over to wan hua secondary school. i was kind of looking forward to this day because i wanted to see the school and students there.

so, i was pretty surprised when the pupils came to welcome us at the main gate.

viewed performances, skit was nice.

got 2 female buddies, i think their characters are rather extreme. one is plain quiet, while the other is more of the playful type. didnt talk much to them. talked more with kaiyan's buddy instead, a.k.a spongebob squarepants! he's cute! heh

splitted into 3 groups, was in the pe group-.-

played volleyball, zzz. there was a point of time when my fingers just went numb and i couldnt tap the ball properly or catch it well.

i wanted to be in the home economics or dance group instead=(

oh well, got on the bus and they gave out fruit tarts, tasted quite nice. i think for once, i ate the custard in the fruit tart

went to some meng jia temple, bought some stuff and went for lunch.

then to yang ming shan. gosh, it was damn cold! the weather was already cold on that day, at a temperature of 15 degree celsius. but it dropped to 10 degree celsius at yang ming shan!

freaking cold, and the wind kept blowing too.

smelt sulphur, bought stuff again, saw cherry blossoms and went into the bus which is definitely warmer than outside.

then went to see some flowers, okay, i have a feeling i messed up some stuff. i forgot where i saw the cherry blossom tree-.-

had dinner, omg, it was damn funny, chinese tea, prawns and fish! hahaha

went to xi men ding, not enough time to shop la! bought some stuff, manage to control myself not to spend so much.

and hey, xi men ding's stuff are much more expensive than shihlin's!

back to hotel, after room check, tricia and i went over to anthony and yao xiang's room. gosh, i laughed like some insane people! anthony activated my laughing gas which hasnt been activated for a few months! hahaha! thanks!

went back to our own room, blah blah and slept.

day 3

breakfast, went to see some parade or what, and saw some exhibits about the first president of taiwan.

then went to some bookshop, bought comics for chea chee. and and, there was this green tea red bean waffle which xiao yun and i wanted badly! but we were running out of time, it was expensive and we were going to have lunch soon, so we didnt get any.

so, went for lunch and proceeded to wan hua secondary school. had some introduction about the school and toured around the school.

then we were in the library and some of the pupils from wan hua secondary school crowded outside the library and caused a commotion-.- i think they treated us like animals in the zoo-.-

their storybooks seem more interesting too

and then splitted into 2 groups and went to science lab, the pupils were really noisy.

gathered, had fruits, planted trees and went for dinner.

then had some performance, and we performed rs dance for them too.

played some games and we bade farewell to one another.

off to hotel, spent a long day in the school. went over to kelvin, george and chuan hua's room with tricia, with poh geok and etc too.

i think we went back to our rooms at 2plus in the morning?

day 4

checked out of crystal hotel. went to some gold museum. oh, and the weather on that day was kind of warm, the first day i perspired in taiwan. hahah

proceeded to jiu fen street. walked around with samuel, anthony, tricia, jia jun and yao xiang each of us were given NT$200 for lunch. i seriously think they should do this for the meals which can be settled at the night markets or streets. then we do not have to stuff ourselves with food even after a really heavy dinner=S

and omg, i love this ice cream wrap a lot!

it's damn nice!~

then went to see some stones at some yehliu park.

kind of cool, but mood was spoilt because of some stuff.

next was taipei 101, kind of boring. was more interested in the lift instead-.- i know that's lame.

and had dinner, gosh, i think this was the fullest meal i had. dim sums and ms sim forced us to eat vegetables-.-

--------------okay, this was where i stopped previously, shall continue blogging about the trip like finally-.- with the help of my memory plus itinary (if i can find XD)----------------

then went over to shihlin night market! woots, my favourite place out of the places we went!

the things there are super nice, super cheap! =DDD

bought a lot of stuff, and tried some more street snacks, but was super full from dinner already, so guess how much weight i put on after taiwan trip! =X

and as usual, not enough time to shop uh!

checked in to another hotel, forgot the name, lol

but it was more high class than crystal hotel.

tricia and i tried on the stuff we bought and blah blah

went over to one another's room and went back to our room and slept.

day 5

last day of taiwan trip!

i prefer the breakfast at crystal hotel ><

went to see some antique and i think, parade?

boring uh, just wanted it to end fast so that we can go xi men ding again.

the tour guide was nice enough to shorten the time so that we have more shopping time

But i will prefer shihlin uh! but better than don't have luhs

oh, and we had our lunch at some weird + cute restaurant, the decorations were really special, and the food, rather unique too

they serve some milk mochi, i found it weird. haha

then to xi men ding, didnt get anything for myself, but got family and friends some more stuff

had ice cream, some swiss chocolate flavour, not nice de, tastes plain.

and we got scolded because some of us were late uh, what a bad ending for our taiwan trip.

to airport, and bye bye to taiwan, hello singapore!

and the meal on the plane, they served hagen daaz cookies and cream ice cream!

okay, i know this is no big deal, but i actually forced myself to finish the whole small tub -.-

reached singapore at 9 or 10 or 11 pm?

vivian, henzy and dad came to pick me up, no souvenirs for henzy =X

cabbed home, unpack blah blah

overall, taiwan trip was fun la!

i want to go again, go shihlin night market to eat and shop! =DDD

i regretted not doing research of what to look out for in taiwan, and i should have tried more of their street snacks too, haha

and the trip was made more fun with peeps like tricia, anthony, samuel, yao xiang, jia jun, etc etc!

right, i'm supposed to be studying for biology speed test but as usual, i'm side-tracking=X

and, i wanted to study biology now so that i don't have to bring the thick textbook over to taiwan.

i'm really hoping that the taiwan trip will be fun.

so, 1st week of school (sounds really long time ago, i know)

SECONDARY ONE ORIENTATION CAMP 2010

lessons learnt, kudos to all OCMC members for making the camp a success!

i actually missed the ocmc members after the camp

Leadership Training for Panellists and Innovation Leaders
as usual, i still love leadership trainings conducted by TOUCH organisation.

most of the activities really ring a bell in your head and make you discover your weaknesses.

and the training happened to fall on priscilla's birthday, so panellists celebrated her birthday for her too!

then was Secondary 3 Adventure Camp

it was fun, but not as fun as what i've expected?

but i still love the many one-in-a-lifetime experiences you can have

and i love the part when everyone goes into the river, float, keep quiet and listen to the surroundings.

and through the camp, got to know more about my classmates, both good and bad

then was chinese new year

brought homework over to malaysia, and had to work on adhoc committee stuff too

then was OMMS

thanks to jazlyn for the help in finding the video=)

hee, i helped her with her learning points and she helped me with video, lol

and and, birthday!

had 2 birthday celebrations, one with family and one with friends

the birthday cake henzy and vivian bought for chea chee and i was yummy!

and the birthday cake bought by EXCO and friends was great!

both celebrations were marvellous! but i think i gained weight after that T.T

and birthday gifts were really nice too, the sincerity and etc=)

and birthday messages too! especially those from long-time-no-see friends. haha

there was once when charlotte and i went to get materials needed for MOE Excel Fest too.

they were so damn heavy, should have asked more people to come along

and learnt new things too.

i was quite looking forward to it.

had core games, and then mass games.

grats to 3/5 for winning the 2nd postition in soccer

referee-ed sec 4 and 5 and 2s netball matches.

was kind of tiring, since i had to run around the court, especially for the sec 4 and 5s matches

and i didnt had any water with me, so had to ask yi bin to help me buy sports water.

and after referee duty was sec 3 netball match.

my skills really cmi le=X

then it started raining, went back to classroom, felt damn sticky all over.

then to hall for prize presentation.

hopefully priscilla will recover soon=)

there's one big blue black on my knee now, because i fell during frisbee.

i'm going to taiwan soon. hopefully i can enjoy myself.

first day of 2010.
went to centrepoint because chea chee wanted to get her shoes.
and the first day passed like that.
i cant believe i spent the first day of 2010 like that, just like that ._.

saturday
went to amk hub, bought new school bag!
zinc + dark green.
i wanted pink or beige, but mum say will get dirty easily. so, yeah
and new pair of shoes for cny, lol
white, and there's ribbons at the back=)
i wanted grey/gray (??) but only have black or white.
one day, i shall stop getting shoes in white.
hmm..

today
stayed at home.
spent too much during past few days><
i realised i've been eating a lot of kaya toasts recently -.-

and yakun is really better than toastbox
finally done with sending mails just now, so many of them =S
and i guess i'm excited for tomorrow, school reopen.

okay, i shall post about my super belated reflection of 2009.

a lot of things have happened in 2009.
i don't know where to start=S
shall focus on 2, EXCO and YLC8=)

YLC8 first.
it's definitely great to be part of this,
of course, provided that you have a great camp (unlike campteen -.-)
and great superiors and heads of committee, mainly, Jarain! Liyana! and Saudah=)
i'm really honoured to be one of the 2 to be chosen to represent riverside to attend this camp, and be part of this youth organising committee.
it feels good when you receive compliments from your superiors,
such as from Liyana and Saudah, for praising me for being an efficient secretary (not really, char's better)
and from Jarain, the little note that you wrote on the mini netball, thanking me for the faithful YLC8 and that i've impressed you. hah
And, sometimes it feels special to be the only sec2 in YLC8, while the rest are sec 3s.
Gained a lot of experience such as writing meeting minutes, learnt a lot of things.
i'm grateful=)

next, EXCO =)
sometimes, i wonder what if i didnt approach mdm soh and told her that she missed out my name in the list of secondary 1 interviewees.
Because if i didnt have the courage to do that that time, i wouldn't have gone for the interview, passed the interview, become a trainee councillor, interview for EXCO, become a level coordinator, get exposed to many more other stuff such as retreat, leadership training and forum, and etc.
Most importantly, i made new friends in council, learnt alot of things, gaineid a lot of experience, especially how to organise events and etc.
i must admit, whatever i used to do in the past, they are for the sake of getting CIP hours and CCA points,
but for now, it's no longer that way.
I'm doing all this, purely to gain experience, learn from mistakes, and perhaps, contribute to the school too=)
i guess i will be really sad when the sec4s exco step down, i will miss them!

next, some other stuff, shall touch a little bit and go.

tuesday
had farewell party for netball seniors.
the one this year was better than the one last year. lol
good effort to the organisers=)
telematch, some coke game, court work, had pizzas, amazing race, water bomb, speech and etc.
the some number guessing game was quite fun, haha. after that, we just got everyone wet. haha
the speech was rather hmm..i don't know how to describe it.
but when yihui said," thank you for tolerating my nonsense" it triggered my emotions because it sort of reminded me of myself?
but i didnt cry. hah
pack up later, helped a bit with the chairs and went home.
it was raining and freaking cold since we were wet.

got some bad news.

i don't want any fierce coach please. it's very demoralising.
but i'm really grateful towards coach for whatever she has taught us. learnt a lot.

had netball training, 2.4km run timing improved, but the timing wasn't accurate actually.

had orientation camp main comm meeting in school.

quite slack for activity committee, i don't know why.

went to sembawang shopping centre with wen jie after that.

wanted to grab subway for lunch, but i was too hungry, so had kfc=X

mrt-ed to sembawang and bus-ed to ssc.

bought scheduler and walked around.

wen jie can talk a lot.

i guess she talked 10 times more than i did, hah.

nevertheless, it's good that there's somebody talking, so that the atmosphere will not be that weird.

but i guess i do enjoy silence too, such as walking home from causway point or republic polytechnic alone.

had netball training in the morning.

left at 9.45am for EXCO meeting at republic polytechnic.

4december, friday.
had netball training.
2.4km run timing imporoved=)

5december, saturday
YLC8 event! School Heroes @ North West=)
woke up super early at 5.20am
prepared and mum walked me to woodlands mrt station.
mrt-ed to choa chu kang, lrt-ed to bangkit and walked to green ridge secondary school.
then more and more people came.
i helped to take attendance of YLC8 and somehow i was in charge of the OPS room.
many people called me to ask for the key, but my handphone was spoilt, couldnt hear what the speaker was saying.
saw a lot during that event.
there was this pretty girl with big eyes who was hugging her mini bolster. haha
and this girl who approached me to ask for the direction of the toilet.
and she's still super young and her mother wasnt with her!
she's super independent right! and her eyelashes are super long! super nice! hahaha
some kids were like uncontrollable, screaming 1 to 10 while walking.
and etc.
it feels weird sometimes.
i don't want to elaborate too much, but i just felt that since parents gave birth to the child, they definitely have the responsibility to look after their child and teach them what's right, what's wrong, instead of letting them do whatever they want and to be led astray and etc.
it's good to see YLC8 members taking initiative to help out too.
like cecilia, who's always volunteering to help out, and raymond! first time see him more responsible! haha.
he was taking care of the kids, haha.
i didnt help much anyway. most of the time tagging with liyana to ensure smooth flow of event. haha.
i wouldnt say that it's super successful, but it's YLC8 members' hardwork.
sometimes it's funny, to think how we started with sports carnival to this School Heroes @ North West event. kept changing plans, haha
and it's definitely great to see how happy the 6 year old kids look when they receive the school kit from the GOH=)
then was cleaning up and stuff. (i forgot the procedure)
there was a lot seaweed and lunch packet left over. brought 5 packets of seaweed home and had to carry the lunch packets to the mosque nearby. it was super heavy!
everyone had to carry 2 plastic bags of 10 lunuch packets in each.
in the end i couldnt stand it and ivy had to help me, heh. thanks!
she's super strong! she could carry 3 plastic bags while raphael was complaining about the 2 plastic bags! hahaha
had reflection, didnt say much. because i didnt know what to say.
but i'm glad i got to be secretary of the programme committee, have experience with typing meeting minutes le=)
and jarain gave each of us this cute small little netball (because she plays netball) with little notes on it. thanks=)
then threw away some lunch packets, it's a waste. ordered too many, hah
and mrt-ed back.
i wanted to have subway at choa chu kang, but jarain and lisbeth wanted this xin wang cafe at yishun, so we went to eat together, along with gigi, ivy and timothy
jarain treated us! haha, thanks.
i realised i ate super fast la, and ended up super full. no space for dessert le-.-
then nid farewell and mrt-ed back to woodlands with ivy and gigi.
walked home with gigi, chatted. haha. thanks for being willing to share=)
got home, bathed and stuff.

heh, i suddenly had the strong strong strong feeling to blog, so i shall do so.

omg, it has been so long ever since i posted.
the last post was on 11 november..around 3 weeks since i last posted?
hahaha, have been busy with mostly Sec1 Orientation Camp 2010 planning=)

all right, shall start blogging, starting from..12 november!

anyway, some details may be wrong since i cant really remember

12 november
had netball training in the morning at kallang. didnt train due to sprained ankle. had match with some schools.
went to republic polytechnic for first OCMC meeting after training. met my committee members!
couldn't really get into the situation as i missed the earlier part of the meeting.
and EXCO meeting for council camp after that.
long day, hah

13 november
had OCMC meeting again and EXCO meeting after that again. haha.
was really busy during that period of time since there was planning of OCMC and council camp.

14 november
if i'm not wrong, this was the day EXCO went out to buy logistics needed for council camp.
went to sheng siong. Rui Xia was high, haha.
but had to leave earlier because dad kept calling to ask me to go home. was quite unhappy about it, but he cares la><
but i stil enjoyed the "outing", haha=)

15november
went to buy more logistics needed for council camp again.
nothing much actually.
spent a long time preparing logistics for games at home after that, but in the end, they weren't used

16november
Student Council Camp!
i think the first part was totally screwed up.
sudden change of venue, delayed schedule and etc.
i didnt explain my game properly=X
we had pizza for lunch! treated by rui xia and ms jasmine lim, thanks!
then got our EXCO t-shirt. pink polo tee!
but it's super big leh! why are my shirts always too big de?
then had food competition. the scene was rather chaotic, 5th group to go off for amazing race.
i cant remember the route.
CWP - IMM - AMK hub - Lot 1 - Sheng Shiong - the condominium? something like that.
and i only took 2 photos of my group- group 3! will upload them in the future if i want to and if i remember.
2nd group to reach condominum, but 3rd group to finish last task. so, i guess we're third.
but still, GOOD JOB, GROUP 3!=)
went into condominium and interated with some other councilors and helped with barbeque.
didnt do much actually, but i fed rahayu! she was too busy to eat
had to go off at ard 9pm.

17november
netball training in school, didnt train because of ankle.
had OCMC meeting afterwards

18november
today could be my "off" day, but i volunteered to go CDC office to help jarain to call people up.
but in the end, all of them didnt pick up except for 2, who rejected the invitation-.-

19november
netball training, didnt train again. and it was the release of Sec 2 Streaming Exercise.
i was in 3/5, along with jin yong, priscilla and etc.
hopefully my class wont be dead la=X..don't really like some people though><
oh yeah, i missed OCMC meeting because of CCA=(
and had YLC8 general meeting, attendance was rather pathetic. but programme's =) and logistics's one were the better ones.

20november
OCMC meeting..cant remember what we did.

21november
had jogging with netball.
fell down halfway. hopefully there wont be an ugly scar on my knee la=(

22november
was this the day my family went to malaysia?
didnt follow though, had to do OCMC stuff=)

23novmeber
netball training in school. think this was the one when we had match with naval base secondary school. it was initially cancelled, but they still came. and all of us were damn shocked, including coach.
did badly.

24november
had dragon boating.
okay okay la, perhaps because i've been to dragon boating before?
but the boats are cleaner than the ones at i-forgot-where-de
went for subway at republic polytechnic with hui yi and pei ting after that=)
asked pei ting about OCMC stuff, haha

25november
had OCMC activity department meeting.
yishen went for camp, so i had to chair the meeting.
but the meeting was fruitful though

26november
netball training in school.
and had OCMC meeting after that.
rui xia was late uh, for the lunch.
anyway, i ate the lunch until super full uh
meeting that day wasnt that fruitful though

27november
nothing on leh, i felt so weird to stay at home for the whole day, haha

28november
had netball jogging, whole team imporved by 1 minute! haha, jiayou!
i want physical training!

29november
cant remember? think i went to CWP for dinner with family

skipped netball training because i had to Green Ridge Secondary School for preparation of YLC8 event.
nothing much though, had small department meeting after that at fajar macs.
jarain treated us! thanks!
tried the tenpayaki chicken..doesnt taste really nice though, i mean, nothing special.
in fact, it has that "vegetarian chicken" taste?-.-

1december
had OCMC meeting in school..cant go republic polytechnic le=less likely to get subway cookies=(

2december
netball training, ran 2.4km..timing around 15minutes15seconds. got to work harder!
i wan to reach the target of 13minutes set by yi hui!
trained on shots instead. put in more than 270 shots in that training, could have been better=(
went to buy secondary 3 books after that.

3december..today!
went to Green Ridge Secondary School to help for preparation again. more things to do this time.
ate alot of dark chocolates=X..around 4 to 6..shucks.
had yoshinoya for lunch after that. was damn hungry initially and damn full after that.

hello
shall post about yesterday.
woke up at around 10 plus or 11 plus in the morning.
switched on the computer to do stuff.
at 1 plus in the afternoon , i suddenly had to see ms jasmine lim in school at 2pm.
and i was having my lunch at that moment.
so i grabbed a few quick bites and prepared and went to school.
she explained to me about some panelists stuff
and passed me a commonwealth writing essay competition certificate.
my essay was commented? or something like that
i even forgot what i've written for it.
lol
ended and walked back home.
explained stuff to priscilla.
and blah blah blah
skip skip to today.

woke up at 7am.
prepared and went to meet the rest outside riverside bus stop for community engagement programme.
walked to mrt station, mrt-ed to sembawang, bus-ed to swami home.
it doesnt look like an old folks home at all from the outside.
went in, filled in forms.
splitted up and i was at the ground floor with syarif, debbie, rui xia and alvin.
interacted with the old folks and stuff.
there was an uncle who was super cute.
left at i-dont-know-what-time.

went to sembawang shopping centre with priscilla and jazlyn.
gosh, i didnt know such a place existed. lol
walked around. got some subway cookies- peanut butter, chocolate chip and double chocolate chip. i prefer to eat them when the chocolate chips in the cookies have melted. haha
continued to walk around and took the free bus ride back to sembawang mrt station.
mrt-ed to woodlands and i walked home.

anyway, vivian's boyfriend is here! haha

ocmc meeting starts at 9.30am for me but unfortunately, it clashed with cca. so i have to skip part of the ocmc meeting which will wnd at 2.30pm
got to discuss some things with priscilla after that.
and then at 3.45pm, there's EXCO meeting.
wow.
and there was supposed to be YLC8 meeting.
but i guess it was cancelled since many people could not turn up.

hello peeps!
i'm finally back to post after my return from the 4days 3 nights camp.
beware okay! because this is going to be a super long post!

1st day (6 November 2009)
woke up at around 7.30am and prepared.
went to meet the rest outside Riverside.
jazlyn sent us off!=)
cabbed to onepeople.sg and registered
i'm separated from the rest since they are representing Riverside but i'm representing North West Community Development Council. i'm in group 9 while they are in group 11.
sat down in groups and introduced ourselves. and there's this guy called Kieron who represented South East CDC.
NWCDC and SECDC. lol
got contact numbers from all group members, ice breakers and etc.
then assembled in hall. introduction to campteen and onepeople and etc.
then there's this international handshake stuff-.-
had lunch next. nasi lemak. lol
i went to change and we set off to our campsite-Labrador Adventure Campsite or whichever way it is spelt. sat on the bus with Nitta. she's from thailand! haha
went to our bunks. not bad luh. got fans and beds. but NACLI is still better-the campsite where i had the NWCDC YLC8 camp! 5 person to a room with one toilet and comfortable beds and aircon!
gathered in groups again and the buffer time was too long. so sian lor.
then had some team building activities. but they don't really seem like team building activities de lor-.-
more on leadership instead. but the link isnt tt obvious-.- riverside de leadership training seems more effective lor. or even primary school leadership training was better
played some games after that- along the corridor at the canteen because it was raining and they forgot to plan wet weather activities. wow?
they realised that it isnt going to work and asked us to go for dinner instead. was still full from lunch. but i still ate.
the rain stopped and continued with the game. i didnt really participate since my view was blocked by the people standing in front.
had some presentation on youth wing after that. i think they should change the venue of the campsite. shouldnt the campsite have a place that's suitable for presentations and that over 240 people will be able to hear the presenters? oh well
had mini planning after that.
presented and it was time to bathe.
i was reminded of NACLI again. lol
i skipped supper and soon, it was time to sleep.
i realised i cant adapt fast well.
coulnt fall asleep at all until many hours passed.
anyway, i'm still grateful to jazlyn for staying up to sms with me=D
just when i was about to fall asleep, there was a fire drill
lol
many people were complaining about it-.-
and i think i have a phobia of fire drills=/
time for over 240 to gather is 8 min 54 sec, with one guy still sleeping soundly in his bunk. if it was a real fire, all of us would have died if we were to evacuate at this speed. touchwood>.<
went back to bunk nd still couldnt fall asleep until don't know when.

day 2 (7 November 2009)
woke up at around 6.30am
prepared and had breakfast..had chinese porridge and soya milk.damn full
bus-ed to fairfield methodist secondary school.
had dialogue. the auditorium was really cold.
went into the classroom for more dialogue. it somehow rang a bell. i'm rather racist actually. at the mention of loan sharks, the first thought people normally have will be chinese and etc.
had more more dialogue in the auditorium again. it was freezing cold la! 16 degree celsius, omg
C Kunalan came! omg, he's rather humorous actually. and he shared a nice love and family story with us=D
was hungry. had lunch. super full again.
bus-ed to YOG learning centre after that. had some telematch first.
and then planning for camp fire item. not very fruitful though. i wasnt very engaged in the planning.=X
went on tour around YOG learning centre after that.
quite cool
bus-ed back to campsite and had dinner.
bath and planned event.
was quite pissed off with one of my group mates. jazlyn knows why. but i controlled my temper okay!
kieron and rafidah presented. according to them, onepeople said our planning was detailed but it isnt attractive enough. i agree. haha
skipped supper again.
then it was time for lights off.
fell asleep ealier that night.

day 3 (8 November 2009)
i realised i bear with the camp for 2 days le.
i wanted to go home so badly on the 1st day to the extent that i was thinking of lying that i wasnt feeling well so that they could send me home.
but i didnt in the end. haha
i guess i enjoyed day 3 the most
i was woken up at 5plus.
prepared and went for breakfast.
buffer time was long again.
bus-ed to a chinese temple. it's big. and there's a museum on the 3rd storey too.
walked to the mosque next. listened to some presentation.
had lunch in the mosque!
it was cool! 4 people to a big big plate of nasi briyani.
and we had to eat with our hands. it's rather cool. haha.
some of them made a mess. haha
i was super full after eating! but some were still asking for additional rice, omg.
they can really eat sia.
bus-ed to somewhere in kallang for dragon boating. omg!it's super fun! this was the only item i was looking forward to in the camp and the reason why i chose to stay on in the camp.
i was rather nervous before dragon boating started, scared that the boat will capsize or i will fall out of the boat or whatsoever.
and kieron and royden was assurring me that everything will be all right. lol.

on the boat, umairah was in front of me, kerin was behind me and kieron was beside me.
haha. realised that our group's actions werent that synchronised.
think we gt 4th out of 6 during the race.
anyway, the sun was burning hot la! T.T
but nevertheless, i enjoyed dragon boating a lot a lot. time passed so fast during dragon boating la!
wash up and waited for bus to come.
bus-ed back to LAC to have dinner.
meanwhile, chea chee and diyanah were complaining. their group's route was different from my group's and my group didnt have to buy lunch on our own and we could wash up after dragon boating and we had transport back to LAC.
but they had to buy their own lunch, carry their wet clothings with them all the way and had to take public transport back to LAC. lol
had dinner. my group was the serving team. it was rather fun!
anyway, my group name is LRS-Lu Relax Sua! lol..i don't know how the group name was derived.but basically, it's to ask people to relax.lol?
had preparation for campfire and photo collage.
campfire started. was rather pissed off at the starting.
watched the performances and my group was the last to perform. we screwed it up. LOL
had 15minutes of dancing after campfire. i just sat down instead. all i wanted was to bathe. lol
skipped supper again and went to bathe.
lights out was at 2am.lol

day 4 (9 November 2009)
last day of camp!
woke up, prepared and had breakfast.
bus-ed back to onepeople.sg
played some games with poker cards to learn about some racial harmony stuff.
gathered in hall for some presentation and stuff.
i was hungry halfway through the presentation. haha
finally it ended and we went to have lunch. decided not to join youth wing since i have too many commitments and i didnt enjoy the camp that much.
took group photos and filled up reflection form, feedback form and some acknowledgement stuff.
me and chea chee complained so much to each other on the first night that i no longer have the mood to complain and feed back that much le.
i acknowledged kieron, jun yiu and myself.
and kieron and wen yu acknowledged me=D
went to collect our bags and after some "debrief", the camp ended.
woah! i've tahan for 4days! lol
well, but i admit that i had a little bit of 舍不得 feeling and that i miss a few of my groupmates, but the feeling wasnt that strong compared to the YLC8 camp.
some of them were saying how enjoyable the camp was, but i was wondering how come i didnt feel that way>.<
perhaps because i had a too great time at NACLI durinng YLC8 camp.
cabbed back and walked home
home sweet home!
i wanted to post about how good NACLI was compared to LAC.
but it's okay. lost my mood to do so. lol.

woke up around seven and prepared for netball training.

the bus ride to kallang was long because there was a traffic jam.
and the sun at kallang was burning hot!

vivian brought the laptop with her to her friend's house yesterday, so i couldn't use it until late at night.

all right.
had healthy breakfast yesterday.
i didnt have any breakfast at home so that i can have the healthy breakfast at school.lol
sandwich, milo and grapes.
didnt eat the grapes though. they dont really look edible to me.LOL
sandwich was rather nice.

went to some theatre after that.
omg.the bus ride was damn long la. but i brought magazine along.hehe
watched two plays. first play was much nicer than the second one.
i love the cantonese part!hahaha
i was hoping that the second play could end fast fast.=X
and i couldnt even understand what message it was supposed to tell us.
bus-ed back to riverside. omg. the bus was damn cold la. i had to wear a jacket in the end-.-
bought lunch and went back home.
could not use the lappy. so i watched the hong kong film.
7 discs down and 1 more to go.lol
couldnt fall asleep at night because i took a nap in the afternoon. so i waited for vivian to come back home to use her laptop for a while. haha

today.
had R3 day.
group consisted of peiying, fiona, me and jia jun
went around to knock doors and collect newspaper.
yi bin came to help after that.
and waited for damn long for the truck to come.
almost everyone was so sian.
finally the truck came and we were dismissed.
wanted to go subway. but it was too far. so sian. so walked home instead.

tomorrow is the last day of school.
i havent get that feeling yet.
but perhaps a bit when i am reminded of that fact?

but whenever it comes to the weekends, i don't really get the mood anymore.

went to north point with family.
i hate it when we have to go back home so early.
i wanted to shop around more.
nevermind, i shall go on a big big shopping spree when i have my own income.

another boring day at school.
cant really remember what we did.
had captains ball during pe lesson.
and i think i became tanner after that 45 minutes of exposure to sun!

saw many riversidians while on my way to civics centre macdonalds.

start of post-exam activities.
at least we had stuff to do-.-
first was some crossword and sudoku challenge.
and then maths trail. okok la.
had recess after that.
i wanted to eat slowly.
but somehow i started chewing and swallowing my food real fast.
guess it has become my habit to eat fast during recess duties?lol=X
next was NYAA. editted here and there.
then the bell rang and i rushed to submit NYAA booklet.

walked to republic polytechnic for interview of nominated councillors.
helped to take down particulars of councillors and OGLs during the first part of the interview
and sat in for the second part of the interview.
kind of sad that i cant interview all of them
but it's okay=)

went to SUBWAY to take away dinner after that!
I LOVE SUBWAY!
it's super nice la!
once you have a bite of it, u will immediately fall in love with it, and i'm serious!
i tried the new flavour today, i forgot what it was called.LOL
but it's still as nice as the others!
i'm craving for more SUBWAY meals!
hahahaha

luckily i brought magazine with me to school on tuesday so that it could keep me occupied

fast forward to interview
had campus changemakers panelists interview.
it was much easier than expected.
but somehow it wasnt really fair?

today..

watched video during chinese class. the young kids are rather cute..

time to update
cant remember what i did on saturday
so shall fast forward to sunday

had barbeque at pris's house.
few months ever since i last barbequed
left at around 6 plus
saw family on the way home.
so went with them to shop and save to get ice cream
fattening=S

today.
had student leaders retreat!
woke up at 6.05am
prepared everything and went to taxi stand at woodlands mrt station.
everyone gathered and bus-ed to mount faber.
mount faber was cool.like so grand lor.lol
and the toilet was super cool la!so many people camwhore there.lol
had meeting.laughters here and there.
i'm glad student council group was lively!haha=)
then had tea break.

shortly after, splitted into diff groups again to discuss about problems faced in different ccas.
then went for lunch.yummy!was really full!
then to the super nice toilet to change.LOL
and then bus-ed to sentosa.

THE SUN WAS BURNING HOT!
went for skyride!rather scary.haha
and then luge.not bad la.hahas
then walked to beach to play.
didnt really enjoy myself because it was really really warm.
so just slacked around.

bus-ed back to taxi stand.
wanted to go take neoprints with exco
but it was postponed to the next exco outing.
definitely looking forward to it!=D

went to woodlands community club to meet jarain to pass her my registration form for the camp.
hopefully it will be fun and that it doesn't clash with any stuff please.

and home-ed

overall, the retreat was rather good.
i love the first part the most

i guess i really need to eat at least one kiwi fruit per day=X

i wanted to blog yesterday.but vivian didn't want to let me use her lappy.

let's talk about yesterday
humanities results were disappointing.
i seriously don't know how chea chee managed to score full marks for source-based questions la!
haha

recess duties

maths..went to deduct one mark for maths paper.
some of them said i 害自己
but then if i don't go and do it, i will 良心过意不去

art..ms fasha said she learnt something new.
and her lesson was that she realised me and chea chee are twins
lol

i was in a bad and weird mood yesterday.
was really offended by what somebody said.
so what if it's a joke?
even if you were asked to go, it doesn't mean that you have the rights to say that.
not you

oh well

had netball training.was raining.so, had physical training.
i love physical training!
because it trains our stamina and i want to shed off some weight la!
then had normal training when the rain got smaller.

fast forward to today
was kind of lookinf forward to today there is EXCO meeting and outing.

so, had EXCO meeting in the morning.
2 bad news.

then went for lunch at banquet

and off to AMK hub for movie!
we had a hard time deciding on what to watch:cloudy with a chance of meatballs, imagine that or Haeundae: The Deadly Tsunami.
haha.
while deciding, saw michelle, wen jie, pei ying and etc too.
in the end, we decided to watch haeundae.
storyline is simple, but it's quite sad.
and death is scary luh!
and i cried because i was sad.lol
and i kept hoping that the movie would end faster
and i felt extremely umcomfortable halfway through the movie, felt like vomitting.
didn't know why.
then movie ended.

mrt-ed back to woodlands
and to timezone to take neo print!
will upload the neoprints when i get them
overall, the outing was quite fun!
thanks to all the EXCO members present who made this outing enjoyable.
and thanks to syariff who helped me carry my bag for the day!

it was disappointing.

i freaking hate it when people know how to eat but don't know how to return their utensils.

i'm finally here to post

had netball trainings on monday and wednesday.
somehow it feels good when the whole team gives one another encouragement, and when the team communicates and call one another during the 4 corners drill.

i think i have completed all my homework.
had a hard time recording oral,
until i gave up.
and i used my handphone.
so i seriously hope that mdm emilia will be able to hear clearly whatever i have recorded.
and the 1st email that i sent her, the files werent converted to mp3.
so i quickly go convert and send again>.<

had YLC8 general meeting yesterday.
i seriously wonder if the event will go well.

i took the minutes for meeting and took a long time to type them out.

yesterday was teachers' day celebration.
overall, the concert went on quite smoothly, except for some parts.
there were quite a number of technical problems
and i made around 2 or 3 mistakes while clicking the slides and playing the soundtracks.
yes, i got my role back.
special thanks to ms lim and others who helped to listen and cue me for the slides
special thanks to AVA crew for the help with the technical stuff.
and most importantly, thanks to those who assured me.
i felt more confident with people around to help me.
thanks loads.
the performers must have felt very good when the audience cheered for them.
thanks to the performers too.
and i really learnt more things and gain more experience through the process of organising Teachers' Day celebration 2009.

and congratualations to 2/5 for winning the ACES day competition although i didnt participate.
i was in the hall helping with the decorations instead.

after celebration, went back home without going back to qihua.
i'm feeling so guilty now.

all right, the 4 secondary 2 level-coordinators came out for a meeting today!
haha,to come up with new duty rosters.
i think that zhi rong is becoming better and better.

then went for lunch at kfc.gosh, it made me so full.

finally found the time to post

monday.
nothing much for pe.
new dance isnt as fun as the old one.
had jogging after sch.
and then spring cleaning.somehow it isn't really spring cleaning.because we couldn't do anything much due to the decorating of banner in student council room.
and i ended up packing one of the cabinets myself.
but they still arranged the blazers anyway^^

had alot of things on my mind when i came home from school.

i started to doubt my abilities.
i started to doubt if i'm capable enuf to handle big responsibilities.
anyway, people may have different definitions of some words.
and it's really scary when people assume and only looks at one side of the story.

i was thinking about ___' problems.
i seriously wonder, before they join, they should have roughly known about their responsibilities and what they have to sacrifice.
for example, time and perhaps, "looks"?
but isn't that one way to show your commitment?
i don't see the point of ___ coming for __ and removing watever stuff to violate the sch rules.or report for marking of attendace and then not doing them properly.
and i seriously think that people who promised to commit but later failed to do so without valid reasons are jerks.or whatever.

i seriously hate physics.
light,colour,heat.n what other stuff.
and science end of year will be tested mainly on physics.
i'm preparing myself to screw it.

as for english, it was disapppointing.

recess.i was surprised that shabnam actually forgot about her recess duty.
i'm disliking higher chinese lessons more and more.
i think i have a veri good higher chinese teacher.
but i think we are going at a very fast pace.
too fast for me to absorb, not to mention to catch up.
everything is progressing too fast.
but i know it can't be helped as end of year is coming really fast.
just blame it on myself for not being able to take a breath

had IT lesson after school.
the teacher is quite kind.at least he's patient.
he actually goes around to teach everybody how to do this and that.
but i know i'm so going to die when the project comes after the IT lessons.

then had teachers' day rehearsal at dance studio.
it was a big improvement from the previous one=D
somehow i was assigned to click the slides.
so i was sitting with the ava crew, listening to their gossips.XP
heh, not really gossips actually.
ms lim was harsh when she scolded logistics.and so everyone planned out each step carefully.
and it was much better.

thursday
nothing much.
jogging aft sch was cancelled due to wet weather.
wanted to go and help bake cookies.but didnt in the end as there were too many people.
thr was finally one day in this week which i could go home earlier.

today

design n technology was so-so
english was a waste of mahjong paper.

then had teachers' day rehearsal.
that was when i realised it was a bad day today.
first was let's play.
i'm at fault.
i'm really sorry.
and then somehow my role on monday's concert was taken away.
i admit i'm at fault for not being very good with the clicking of slides.
i wasnt familiar with the slides.the slides were supposed to be prepared by the first rehearsal.but in the end, it was only until the last rehearsal then i finally see all the powerpoint slides from the performers.
some singers not singing into the microphones properly.
AVA crew talking so loudly at the backstage when it was supposed to be quiet.
i don't know whether they are reasons or excuses.i do not know.
had intended to save all the slides in my thumbdrive so that i can practise at home over the weekends.
oh well, this may be a good thing.i can help logistics and programme in other areas. i promise i won't be a flower vase on monday even though my role got taken away suddenly.

yesterday..
met sunshine at cwp at 1.19pm..hahas
was supposed to meet him at 1pm de.
but i left my house at 12.55pm,missed one bus n therefore reached at 1.19pm.lol
he complained tt i was torturing him since we decided to hav lunch tgt but i was late.=X
hahas..psps

so, met him at kfc den went to yoshinoya to eat.i didnt eat.
wait super long ok?haha
den started to go shopping for jaz n yl de presents
dey super bad luh,esp jazlyn.
i tell her wat i wan..but she didnt tell me wat she wan..den walked here n thr to find wat wil b useful to her.so in the end, gt her a notebook, mini drawer and notepad plus photoframe.
n we went into action city twice b4 i bought yl her present
ask her wat animal she like she oso say sui bian.haiyo
den go macdonals to eat lil bit n to wrap some present.den no scotchtape worh.but sunshine was clever enuf to tell me to use the sticky part of post-it as scotch tape.clever seh

HELLO PEEPOS!
i'm back fr my YLC camp...
overall, the camp was quite fun, n i definitely learnt new stuff.
but sumhw,i dono y,but i tink tt the lvl2 ldrship workshop by TOUCH left sucha big impact on me tt so far, i found none of the ldrship workshops or camps tt i hav attended r better than it.i reali dono y.isit tt they r good, but jus tt the lvl2 one was the first good one tt i hav attended n tt's y it left sucha deep impression on me?

let's start fr day 1
wanted to meet gigi at boots n shoes.in the end we met each other on the same bus-.-
den trained to buona vista and den take bus200 to NACLI.
it reali isnt a campsite.it's more like a resort or chalet?lols
den reach le.sat with grp 1.i tink my grp was the first to break the ice.cos we hav grp members tt r reali outspoken,like liyanah n ivy n huili.
den tok abit.den gradually the rest reached.

first was breakfast.thr was doughnuts n bee hoon.didnt eat much though.

den was ice breakers.
first game is neighbours.i cudnt play cos i cnt run cos of my haven-recover-ankle.
so i jus sat on the chair.
nxt was sit acc to bdae date.den intro urself to the person sitting on ur left n right.
lastly was double whacko.cute luh tt game,esp raymond.
i paired with ivy.den wenever ppl call her name,she wil shake me vigorously.cos if i don say some other ppl's name,she wil tio!lol.haha

den did grp flag,cheer n name.
group1 was officially known as ICE-SERVE.
cos wen u break up serv-ice..den,yeah.
cool ba?i 4gt whose idea was it..
den presented flag n cheer.
ohya,my grp mates were: ivy, cecilia, huili, yunyi, liyanah, atikah,pearl,benjamin, prisca and ann.
ben's the on guy.he's at an advantage.heh

nxt was the first game.
thr were paper plates on the floor with numbers 1-50 on it in diff languages.
i'm lazy to explain the game.but i reali learned alot fr it.
such as sharing of info n observation of surroundings is veri impt.

den was lunch.nt packet lunch hor.
is buffet at air-conditioned dining hall.hehXD
i tink tt i ate alot during the camp.shucks.gain weight le.n othough i ate alot,i stil get hungry easily n quickly during the camp.omg
was supposed to check in the dormitories.but gt prob with key cards.
den aft having lunch,went bk to learning lounge for briefing abt YLC and sunlove project.

nxt had teambuilding games.
let's boogie,mass skipping n moonball.
ice-serve was 1st for let's boogie.haha.unusual strategies.
so overall,through these team building games,i learnt tt it's veri impt to strategise b4 implementing n executing.
den had moonvolleyball.ice-serve won!
we had to play all these game to earn credits for our sunlove project n outdoor cooking.as in money to buy the ingredients needed.
so, ice-serve was 2nd for teambuilding games n first for moonvolleyball.so we gt $180 to spend.
to buy things needed to cook lunch for ard 13 ppl and teabreak for 20elderly.
we were nice to share our money with the other grp.since we had the most amount of money, we volunteered to buy all the oil,garlic n etc.those stuff tt all the grps wil nid.

den was dinner.

n den played a game tt's sth like cross-river?
had to step on some black thingy n cross fr one end to the another.
learned alot fr it too.such as we mus cherish resources n rmb wat we promise to commit

n den had briefing on sunlove project.sunlove is sth like a place for old folks for entertainment?cant rmb much for this part

den had brief discussion on sunlove project n outdoor cooking.each grp had to come up with a skit n storm or dance.we chose dance.
n decided on spaghetti for ourselves n kebab for the old folks for outdoor cooking.yunyi was super hyper at the mention of cooking.

den had supper n reflections..overall,i oreadi learned alot fr the first day of the camp.

went to the dormitory.room mates were: yun yi, atikah, liyanah n prisca.
at first nt reali looking forward to sharing bunk with dem.but it turned out fun!esp liyanah,she's cute luh.reali veri cute.esp her actions n wat she says.super cute.n atikah told us interesting stories abt herself.n i super super miss liyanah's ipod can?120gb.gt so much video sumore.T.T..i wan one oso.i suddenly missed liyanah so much todae!
n the dormitory had 5 beds,5 carboards,but unfortuantely not 5 toiletsXD
gt 1 toilet..n the dormitories at the corner had 7 beds n 2 toilets.lol
the dorm was super cold.n i 4gt to bring my jacket.n i didnt bring my i-magazine to read oso.lol
ok..end of day 1

day2
den had morning walk to hort park.super long way.gt winding road sumore.
n i saw greenhouses!everybdy was linking it to ben since he's in the green club.
den did reflection for day 1 thr..gt so much milipedes crawling ard lor.den we had to chg place for reflections.n tt interrupted huili's thts.lol
den increased our pace n walked back to NACLI since we wanna reach our target of dono hw long.i 4gt.
n we reali did use less time!

den had breakfast n wash up.yunyi was saying tt tt didnt seem like a camp b4.since we cud bath for so mani times a day.lol

den went for fieldtrip to marsiling cc first.
had ppt presentation slide.i was reali tired.n omost fell aslp.n nt to mention tt i was jus sitting bside the speaker n i had facilitators standing in front of me.
i realise tt fuchun cc accually existed n thr r so mani other ???wat do u call tt?commitees under the diff cc?
den learn more abt grassroots leaders.they accually arent paid.
den went to sunlove to observe the environment b4 starting to plan for the project.

had packet lunch at sunlove.it's nice=)
n i took pearl's mayonaise since mine was a diff set n didnt hav mayonaise.

den returned to NACLI to start project planning.wrote scripts n stuff lidat. yunyi n atikah went to buy ingredients for outdoor cooking
i didnt contribute much n wasnt tt focused.cos i discovered liyanah's super cool ipod n started meddling with it.watched some of the vids.so yeah, i side-tracked.n i'm so guilty tt i didnt contribute much.
but i did giv suggestions n contributed in one way or another.
the overall theme of the skits is empathy..n our grp de is friendship.
n for dance,we decided to do chicken dance.lol
aft some rehearsals, had presentation on NW CDC.
we had to match each MP to the district they r in chage of.
n ice-serve did the worst in this section.oni gt 5 correct.lol
but at least gt 5 correct.since we jus anyhw draw arrows de.XD
seriously i dono hw dey managed to rmb all these stuff.

den had dinner.

n den had debate!team was splitted up into 2.my grp consists of: liyanah, me, ben, huili, cecilia n yunyi.
i was the oni one with exp for debate in my team.n we had to rush out our script in 15min.in the end oni liyanah had her script as i told ehr wat speaker one does.den the rest had to lin2 chang3 fan3 ying4.
basically jus rebuttals.lol
our motion was " youths r too young to make a difference in the community".n it's the 1st motion
n we were the opp.so is not too young.heng sia.
den i tok abt YLC and campus changemaker.lol.i purposely looked at gigi wen i mention abt ccm.n she gave me tt face.lol
den the rest tok abt cip n relating bk to the facilitators n etc.
n i gt the best speaker!
gt some choco waffle as prize.4gt the brand le.but i love tt brand de waffles.or isit biscuits?
n i received comment fr the facilitator tt i was more all-rounded but i hav to b wiser on my content.haha
but overall comments abt the debate for the 1st motion isnt gd.but we did our best

den had rehearsal for performance at sunlove
it went quite well except for mc warriors's skit.but everybdy tried to help out.
n i went to help lisbeth n liyanah with the lucky draw.they volunteered to b emcees for the performance n thus, were the overall in charge of the programme.n dey had to do alot.

aft tt gt our YLC8 t-shirt.it's red.shud hav gotten XS instead of S.i didnt noe tt XS is available.but it's stil ok.

n den returned to dormitory to bath n slp.
n it's super cold.n the blanket isnt the thick type oso.lol

overall, learned tt teamwork is reali impt.if we were to do everything individually such as the brainstorming of skit n dance, seriously i wont noe hw to do it.but thru the ideas given by everyone n aft putting dem tgt n modifying dem, it bcomes a great idea.
end of day 2.

day 3
i was one of the 3 hu raised the flag.raised the PA flag.priya rasied the spore flag whereas raymond rasied the NACLI flag.n he was having so much trouble with the flag?lol
nesh was the commander.

den had morning stretch.

n den went to eat breakfast.porridge.hahas
i anyhw add the sauce n stuff.i dono wat dey r oso.

n den had morning circle.shucks.i 4gt wat this is le.so i shall skip it.

den outdoor cooking!was looking forward to it.i cut the ingredients with huili.
n yunyi was so worried for huili.since she alwaes seem tt she's gonna cut her fingers anytime.lol.
n ben accually cooks every meal for his family.cool!
ben + huili=so compatible.one noe hw to cook while the other dono.lol
dey were bf n gf in the camp.-.-
we waited super long for the big pot of water to boil.
den boiled the ingredients.the small sausages for the kebab were nice.
but they r for the elderly at sunlove.haha
n were searching everywhr for our missing ingredients such as cucumber n pasta.
n yunyi was our main chef.since she cooks alot.
n she was screaming for this n tt.such as oil n stuff.n liyanah was running evrywhr to get it.lol
n den spaghetti n kebab was done!
so we went to help out the other grps.
the green bean soup tt mc warrior prepared took super long to boil.lol

n den had lunch.ate the food tt YLC8 cooked.nice!n our spaghetti was the first one to finish.heh
n i tink it's reali nice oso.n i love firemaan de ham sandwich.
n den clean up n wash up.aft tt gt a "scolding" fr trainer.
cos we didnt take care of one another n 3 of dem hurt themselves durin the outdoor cooking.

den quickly help mc warriors out.
n den departed NACLI for sunlove.i brought my hp along this time.

wen we reached sunlove, i went up with yun yi to get some old folks down.the scence was a bit chaotic tt time n instructions kept changing.but all was stil ok.helped to serve the food to the elderly n chatted with a grandma with yunyi n benjamin.she kept telling us abt her life experiences.she's cute n definitely one of the good ppl..the veri "justice" type?ok..my vocab sucks.

nxt was performance.ice-serve was the first to go.it's so great to c the elderly dancing chicken dance with us n laughing wen we performed our skit.it's a joy.n sumhw i felt tt, wen we see dem happy, we r happy too?hmm..den thr were other perfomances by mc warriors n firemaan.n thr was lucky draw n passing the parcel.n n the facilitators danced too!nt bad leh..quite nice.n the song is definitely addictive.nobody by wonder girls.haha..n we danced with the elderly b4 sending dem bk to their house.i sent the grandma bk tgt with ann.heng gt ann.if nt i wont noe wat to say to the grandma if i was with her alone.>.<..took a pic with the grandma..but 4gt to get it fr ann.nvm,nxt time den

den we returned bk to NACLI for dinner.nice seh.n den was wash up.

nxt was confidence walk!omost cudnt make it cos it was raining.but the rain stopped.the trainer told us abt some world war 2 thingy at first..but nt reali tt scary la.den we set off n walked tgt as YLC8.reached station1 which was human tangle.difficult sia.we tnagle until so wat.spent dono hw long trying to untangle.restarted dono hw mani times oso.den proceeded to station 2 with ice-serve.flip the mat.i noe hw to play de lor.i was leading the grp at first.but den i tink i flipped wrgly or wat.den in the end ann led the grp.but we stil failed anw.facilitator said it's cos we were impatient n frustrated?n the mat hor..gt 2 layers sumore..confusing sia.den while we waited for our turn to set off in pairs, we tried to flip the mat agn.n we succeeded so fast this time round cos we were more patient le.den facilitators told us not to look up at the trees cos of some world war 2 thingy oso.i tried my best to not to listen to wat dey were saying at first cos i don wanna scare myself.but i stil heard the whole story in the end.den set off with yunyi.we were chatting abt past crushes.haha.she kept askin me to look up at the sky cos thr was alot of stars.-.-no wonder she's from astronomy club de.aft we reached the final destination, waited for the other pairs n went bk to NACLI.overall, the confidence walk was sorta no kick?heh

den had supper n reflections.we requested to stay up later to sorta camwhore?we sat in a circle n passed the chips ard.tt's y i hav so mani pimples nw.T.T.me n liyanah jus sat on those chairs with wheels..den we jus "rolled" everywhr to get the chips we wan?haha.don nida wait.XD.n den went bk to bunk.atikah was crazy over jaron's sms.i realised tt jaron is a flirt too.

in conclusion, i learned tt we shud help one another out and i'm glad tt we were given a chance to organise a small project which is the performance at sunlove othough i was more of a follower.n the confidence walk was to get us out of our comfortable zone n face our fears.end of day 3

day4..had breakfast..n den check out le..aww..had breakfast..sausage bun n strawberry swiss roll.thr wasnt enuf to go ard,surprisingly.cos normally we wil oni finish half of everything?

den had affirmation.this was cool.we sat in a circle n had to pass our paper ard for others to write comments on it.n wen i gt mine bk, 95% of it was abt being the best speaker in debate.lol.n huili's one was abt ben n ben's one was abt huili.lol

den we had some reflection over the sunlove project.overall i tink comments werent tt gd.but i tink it shudnt b tt bad too since it was our first time organising event for the community.ppl were commenting abt bad communication.i agree, but it reali isnt easy for 2 emcees to instruct everyone, n sumore thr were 3 ppl giving 2 diff instructions.yes,mistakes were committed,but i'm sure lisbeth n liyanah did their best.lisbeth even stayed up late till 1am to rush her script.overall, i tink everyone did their best.*applause*..lessons learnt: be flexible, alwaes negotiate with person ic first n go ard to c if anybdy needs help.n abt outdoor cooking, we accually didnt tink abt the 2 vegetarians.so tt's a lesson learnt too..n we wrote our reflections tgt on a piece of paper oso.

den had the rope initiation ceremony.first, we had to untie the knots.i didnt noe wat was goin on lor.den we had to join the rope tgt to form a cirlce.nxt, we had to say wat we wil commit to the future YLC8 project.n wen huili started crying, some of the gals started to cry too.but i didnt cry.cos we wil meet each other agn soon.

den it was closure of camp n we went to hav our lunch.all the gals fr ice-serve hugged ben!lols!den we took bus200 bk to buona vista mrt station n took the mrt.gigi, yunyi, me, merdina, raymond n jaron alighted at woodlands.we went to macs to slack.n went home aft tt.

i'm reali happy tt i got to represent rs student council to join this camp n organise projects for the community in the future 1 yr.othough i'm nt in the exco of YLC8, i'm happy enuf tt i'm part of it.studies wil b my first priority.student council n YLC8 wil b second.whereas netball comes 3rd.but of cos thr wil b exceptions sumtimes in situations such as competitions comin up.n debate may b comin up too.sumhw looking forward to it.n i certainly hope tt we wil achieve sth as the first batch of RS debate team.but time left for training for debate is getting less n less.

i made new frens in the YLC8 camp.n most of dem r certainly veri gd role models to learn fr.n it feels cool to b the oni hu is born in 1995 in the whole YLC8.haha

n i spent like 3 daes to post this super long post?haha.

mondae was pri sch ldrship training
i was so not looking forward to it cos i was worried abt presentation
but met tan jing at 883 den went to sch tgt.
prepare this n tt..kip walking ard to prepare logistics
n i was in charged of leading the kids fr general office to class to place their belongings n den to the hall to assemble.so i was like..walking up n down n up n down continously.
luckily my leg wen walk nt tt pain le.

den prepared grids.den start of station games.
it turned out tt it was quite alrite.i was kinda glad tt the pri sch kids understood my instructions.
yeah, i did work on the feedbacks
den wen it was qihua de, alot of dem were like saying i am chea sing's sister.lol
n i told dem some stuff regarding ldrship training.haha

2nd day of olympic camp..
at first grp8 was veri high.
but gradually bcome quiet le..
had try-outs on discus,javelin,longjump,sprint and wrestling.
den wen my team was trying out long jump..damn tt drain cover luh..sprained while walking on it.gt extras don wan kip.pile up for wat?ok.i don wan elaborate.
den jaz accompanied me!thanks,yeah?=)))
ok..i'm nt gd at expressing gratitude with words.
den had lunch.
n den heats.grp 8 gt 3rd for female sprint n 2nd for male wrestling.
den evalutation n stuff.was supposed to read out my reflection.
but i didnt wan to.so asked xiao yu to help me read.lol
den in the end grp8 gt 3rd overall!
woah!
on the first day i was tinking tt our grp gt no hope.cos everybdy like so nt enthu.
but cnt say die so easily.we were tie with grp6.but they cheered more yst.so dey gt silver.hahas
i'm glad enuf we gt a bronze.n the medal gt weight de!

in conclusion, this camp wasnt a nice one.compared to other camps n workshops like the ldrship one by TOUCH.
i didnt get the feel like.."oh!so respect, friendship n excellence r reali impt!"..unlike during the ldrship workshop..whrby i reali noe abt RICE and noe the areas of leadership i'm lacking in.
oh well, but at least i learned the olympic values.

on fridae!throughout the whole 1st wk of holidae..i was oni looking forward to this day.

alrites..todae was olympic camp..overall, it was boring?
had some talks..boring luh..i was in grp8..nt veri close to most of dem..
but luckily we had ppl like nabil n hani hu talk more.
den was mascot design n cheer..
i volunteered to help out in cheer..but jus gave some suggestions.
den had breaks..n cont..n den lunch..n den played a game which was sth like golf?
i didnt play though..not interested..but luckily the weather was quite fine until the later part..
den went bk up to hall..i was kinda surprised tt grp8 was among the top4 grps for golf..
den competed with grp 2,5 n 7..even more surprisingly..grp8 accually gt the first?
i was damn surprised luh..n everybody in my grp was like.."huh?we 1st?"
i tht we were 4th at first wen they announced the results.lols
tink our cheering helped alot?but did we reali cheered tt lot in the first place?lols
den was mascot n cheer competition..this is the most fun part of this camp..
screamed abit..
i tink my grp was ok..the presentation of mascot was diff fr the rest n quite gd except the superior part..but we apologised to the main speaker aft tt=X
cheer was..hmm..presentation was kinda diff too..but i tink dey cudnt hear us properly except the north-south-east-west..lol
but i tink overall was ok..
den had reflection...nth much..

compared to other camps n workshops, this camp is indeed quite bad..cos it's kinda boring..unable to get everyone sorta involved.

saturdae evening went for EXCO meeting at civics macs. met amir b4 goin.

hmm..okok luh.
met tanjing at 883 n he went to hav his breakfast..
den went to sch at 8.30am..
prepared logistics and waited for small kids to arrive.
not many came..so instead of 4grps, we had 2 grps instead
so i combined with tanjing to b group1 de facilitators.
first game was abit boring..partly cos it's silent?haha.silent ball
den was police n theif.it was quite funny at times.
aft tt is running water.gt real drenched aft playing tt game.i tink we had more fun compared to the qihua pupils?cos we were spashing water at one another.haha
den was longest line..n finally tutuband.
not bad luh.othough some of the kids were a bit mischievous, they were stil controllable.
but we had to repeat instructions for a lot of times.haha

luckily everything was ok.
den had some humanities documentaries..tht it wil b some boring videos tt tok abt dead ppl..but it turned out to b nt bad..but as it gt later, i began to pay less attention to it n had to turn bk occassionally to ask jaz wat was goin on.haha
den had sexual education stuff.
sumhw i paid more attention to wat mrs lee was saying compared to mrs selvan.i dono y.
den jumbo sale.nth much.it was veri warm but i helped to tend the stall=)

den gt lvl3 ldrship training workshop.i seriously love workshops held by the touch organisation.
i tink dey were jus great.n the best workshops i hav attended so far.reali learnt alot of stuff.a pity tt i missed out a big part of it due to rio tinto.
rio tinto was easier this yr compared to last yr?it was easier than wat i had expected.but perhaps thr were alot of traps?lol..had to borow stationeries fr syarif n wassim cos i oni brought a pen.haha.thanks,peeps.

had napfa test..
first was shuttle run..gahh..i hate this..11sec..hmm..i tink i cud hav done better..last yr was ard 12 sec plus?
den was sit ups..did 35?last yr was 27
den standing board jump..gahh!i hate this station to the max max max..but surprisingly i was satisfied with my results..for once?176cm!woohoo!othough it's 2 more cm to an a n i tried to jump tt 2 more cm..i failed to do so..but nevertheless, i'm happy with it le.last yr was 142cm..
den was sit n reach..46cm=D..last yr was 44cm..
lastly is inclined pull up..did 18 after much struggle.last yr was 16..
overall, i'm quite satisfied with it..

den went for netball training n den home..

tuesdae..
dono is due to napfa test or netball training..i was havin serious musclesches..haha..
aft sch was swimming..had mixed feelings abt it..
while walking to rp..i tripped over a pipe sticking out sumwhr in the grasspatch..n i fell flat onto the ground.wth..damn unglam can~~~gahh!
n i ended up with scratches n blueblack which jaz kip wanting to rub.
den chged into swim suit..n den to swimming pool..
walao..i cant grasp a single thing the instructor is teaching..i tink the pace is too fast for me n i'm worrying if i can catch up with the class.i mus gambatte!
i wont wan to miss my swimming class though i'm lacking behind..cos it's veri troublesome if i miss..nida come bk another day with other classes..

shall start with sundae nite..
did debate until 10pm plus n thr was sch on the nxt day.
n jiajun escorted me home,thanks uh

practised for chinese compeition..wonder if the game board will change
cos if it changes, i wil hav to memorise the chim stuff..
but if it doesnt, i wil jus hav to kip playing the game until i can read it upside down or watever.
den went for netball training..

tuesdae
started duties as EXCO member le..all the morning checks n etc.
will b doin morning checks with amir on every tuesdae..n as oversee for morning duties..
n learn new stuffs too..
den had international friendship day celebration..
den etc n etc..

wednesdae
supposed to hav match with jurong west sec sch..but it rained..so was postponed to mondae
pitied hazel...she missed her debate n sports carnival meeting bcos of the match
but in the end it was cancelled..

thursdae
had debate with 2/7..
feedback fr the adjudicators is tt 2/7 were more sure of wat they are saying while 2/5 did more research..hmm..
results arent released yet..but i reali hope tt we can win..
my rebuttals were a lil bit screwed up..but oh well..
den went for training later..ran 4 rounds ard the sch..wth..knee pain + stitches

tuesdae:
had geo quiz.read first few pages of geo txtbk oni.den realised stil gt so mani pages left den threw the book away.so anyhw write answers lor..based on general knowledge
den left class early cos havin match with boardrick sec sch..
lol..wen we came bk on the bus, hazel n melody kept on complaining abt the referees.
none of us from riverside knew hw to umpire cos we didnt attend the course b4.so both were fr boardrick de
but seriously they were kinda unfair..gt toe the line den dey say didnt.n their judgement get affected easily by others' comments.
they were unfair...but nvm. at least we, rs netballers played with integrity and sportsmanship which is the basic quality an athlete should hav.
their coach was damn vulgar too..tsk tsk tsk
we losed anw..13:17..partly due to unfair umpires?
n i tink we accually can win the game de ba?
1st part of 1st quarter was the best
n i wan my umpire course!

i dono y but sumhw i like the "lecture" session by mr raja..

had 2.4km run during pe..

their sch de facilities r reali CMI..toilets and netball court..
so mus reali appreciate the facilities we hav in riverside..
den at first jurongville was leading..but we did well in 2nd quarter..so caught up..n layping said the GA's attitude towards her chged fr gd to bad?lol

best part was 2nd n 3rd quarter

so had to resing on tues..

yst was sports carnival..
a pity tt it rained.
the poor ppl arent us, the participants..but the main commitee
they spent 6 months organising this n in the end, it had to be cancelled due to the lightning n rain
but it's ok..at least they hav gained exp in the aspect of organising n planning activities
tag rugby was ok..basically was incharge of pulling tags n passing the ball.
versus 2/7 n it was a draw..1:1

the field was damn slippery..

realised hw stupid me n meng wee were wen we realise tt thr was a footpath for us to walk to thr instead of the grassfield n tt thr was a carpark n we cud hav get the water fr thr instead of walking for so long to get mineral water-_-"

WTH..so had to stop the filming process
was stuck in one of the shelters in the park..cudnt get out cos it was raining so heavily.
den decided to get hepl fr kok ann since he lives nearby..
he's so nice la..to hav agreed to help..omg
at 1st wen he came down n we were goin to go to cwp..thr wasnt any rain anymore..so asked him to go bk=made a wasted trip..
but suddenly it started to rain heavily agn n he came bk to help us again

she's a gd mentor..learned alot fr her esp on wat shud b included in proposals. it's like as if she has done it so many times in her life. toks like the professional sort.
